in my opinion, it would be a lot easier if you had 1 sheet for each course, run names down the left, and gate, back-up, roll-over, touch, and so on across the top.
that way you *could* run multiple courses at the same time, and only have 1 sheet for each course as opposed to 12 sheets if 24 ppl show up to run.

Having the names down the left side is the way it currently is, but there is barely any room to fill in the name (and oriented that way only allows for ~12 names). I'll play with it a little more and see if there isnt some refinement to be done though.

W.Pa.C. uses one sheet for each driver.

It has three sections (3 courses) and offers 10 gates for each...

We started this design at States last year and it turned out to be a great layout...

Andy that looks good as you can put 8 drivers on one sheet but the post from Rckcrwlr "W.Pa.C. uses one sheet for each driver. It has three sections (3 courses) and offers 10 gates for each..." sounds like it would work better as every driver has his own scorecard so to say, kinda like in golf. Maybe Rckcrwlr AKA da Pres (Hail to da chief) could post /E-Mail you one to look at.

I personally like having 1 sheet per driver with room for multiple courses on that sheet.

I really liked the ECC scoresheets. Something like those but have room for 3 courses would be awesome. I have a couple here and will post one up.

Here is version 2, with one sheet per entrant.

What do you think?

The 1 we use here in 801RCC allows you to score 10 drivers on 1 sheet and it's very easy to see what the drivers score and their progress is as you score them, so you don't have people asking "how many points do I have left" followed by a "oh, um, looks like you pointed out". Each judge has a clip board with a few sheets attached, when the sheet is full he simply puts it at the back and starts a new sheet. No lost sheets either.
The score sheets we use were designed by Pinchflat and I haven't seen any better IMO

I'll see if I can post a pic up later.

The one my wife (Emily) came up with allows us to record final time and the start of "Repair" time. We currently have it setup so there are two courses per sheet (one driver per sheet) and I think up to 12 gates. The example below is an early draft. Emily was trying to create one sheet that would handle Scale (multiple formats) and 2.2/Super. She has since created class specific sheets. We add the score as we go, and record it in the boxes. So a reverse would be 1 and a touch would then be 11. Three more reverses would give you 12, 13, 14. Seems to be much easier then adding up alot of little marks at the end.

SO why the single driver sheets? That to me makes it much more comoplicated than one sheet per course?

You have all three runs for each driver on one sheet. This makes it easier when recapping and ranking each driver.

Best way we have found so far...started these last year at the States comp...and kept it ever since...just modded it a little.

I see so its easier to track 30 sheets rather than 6???????

The only advantage I see is to make it impossible to cross over scores to another name which can be a big deal............Ill print up a few and use them at the AZ summer shootout
