Default 2.2 class maximum tire size.....

There has been some drivers building their own versions on cut and shut 6" tires for 2.2 class. On some courses they work very well and others they are a hinderance, just like alot of other things in crawling. I want to open a poll to see the general feelings across the board of these tires.

Please poll and post up your thoughts...

Its doubtful this will lead to any rules change.

The biggest reason I would ask is why someone thinks its necessary.

6 inch tires have been allowed from the beginning, and hardly anyone runs them. I think the rule gives drivers enough room to hang themselves which is some thing I like in this sport.

I like your thought on this, but on rip rap courses, as long as there is no serious sidehills they exhibit a distinct advantage. Maybe not so bad if they were production tires that could be bought commercially.....But some of us are not cut n shut kinda guys.

That's just poor course design.

The phrase is "if you can't beat them, join them" not "If you can't beat them, whine and get the rule changed"

You can have a Blue Star Vendor here make you a set if you can't do it yourself. Talk to Eddie (Crawler Innovations) he will hook you up.
