Are there any down falls to putting savage shocks on the X-factor? I have a few different set laying around and thought I would give it a try.

I asked DD the same thing and he said that it caused to much suspension travel which caused binding in the tranny and eventually broke it. So Savage shocks are bad for the X.

Well that blows!! I was going to put my piggy backs on there because they suck for jumping but I think they would be good for what I use the X for. Well I guess I'll just buy 4 more shocks.

You can make them work but I found that they didn't help anything. The cantilever design is hard to beat on the Xfactor. Plenty of travel and control! I didn't see a benefit, other than the coolness factor of having the Savage shocks on.

The cantilever system does work really well. I just put some monster GT tires on this thing last night. I just got done dying the cases black of my new X175's. I should have the cage done Sat. or Sunday. I may put them on just to try one next week.
