Default X-Factor axles - PARTS LIST!!!

Well, I got bored today and compiled this parts list for 2 X-Factor axles. The prices are from global and hobbypeople. This is gonna scare ya!!! 8O

149633 XTM Gearbox - X-Factor, F/R & L/R $17.99 x4 = $71.96

149635 XTM Gearbox - X-Factor, middle $9.99 x2 = $19.98

149673 XTM Axle Shaft - X-Factor, pair $17.99 x2 = $35.98

149675 XTM Axle Shaft Couplers - X-Factor (2) $9.99 x2 = $19.98

149343 XTM Wheel Hub - XTRM/X-F/Mam, Front (2 pc) $22.99 x2 = $45.98

149430 XTM Differential Assy, Cup style - XTRM, X-F, Mam $39.99 x2 = $79.98

148624 XTM Diff Shims 8x12 - X-Term/X-F/Mam (10 pcs) $2.25

146110 XTM Axle adapters for X-Factor, Mam Rr., Savage $12.99 x2 = $25.98

149623 XTM Link Rod Mount (2) X - Factor $9.49 x2 = $18.98

Grand Total = $321.07

WTF!!!!!!!!

8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O
PLUS, this is without bearings, hardware, and the servo mounts!!!! Figured I'd just stop here as the price got way too high! for about $50 more you could buy a whole X-factor AND be able to part out the nitro stuff and come out waaaaaay on top over this price.

Like I said I got bored..............

It is alot, but I've noticed most of the other companies are the same way and charge alot for spare parts. That's a big part of how they make money is it not?

Plus I'm not gonna knock XTM too bad, they're a pretty good company and their cust service is top notch so I hear....plus they did bring us crawlers some pretty cool axles!

So far just one, Torquer's rig, the red Jeep-bodied clod in the Grapevine lakes pics. His rig is really NICE... pretty much just like a zilla4....only thing holding him back really is a lil wheelbase and lower gearing....otherwise I think his rig would be on par with just about anyone else out there....Mudcow, pinchflat, grizzly, etc.... Also he's been having severe radio glitches so it's still hard to see what his rig totally capable of.

September 4th, we'll be crawling with Texrok, he's got a clod with a ~14" wb, 9t pinions and narrowed tires so I'll be able to see what it can do against one of these competition types of clods.....PLUS Torquer has plans for more wheelbase and 9t pinions as well, so if he has those mods done and his glitches fixed he will SERIOUSLY be a force to reckon with also.....I guess I'll see then if my rig has what it takes! I've got a few tricks up my sleeve as well that 'should' even the playing field! I'm really looking forward to it! Should be lotsa fun!

I WORK IN THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY AND THERE PRICING ON PARTS ARE ABOUT THE SAME SCALE AS THE R/C COMPANYS. PARTS HAVE A 100% MARK UP OVER COST. BUT THATS THE WAY EVERY INDUSTRY IS . THIS IS A GREAT WEB SIT. I HAVE FOUND A LOT OF USE FULL INFO HERE.

KidWithAcrayon: Guess you'll have to see for yourself! Show up or put up!

rockjeep: Yea I guess since they're supposed to be scale models, that includes the prices too! Shoot... for the price of one brand new axle you can buy an entire rig...used of course. Like how I got my 91yj for $1300 you can get just one axle for a similar price.....pretty much know what I mean?

Where can you get them for that? I would like to try to build one of these shafty rigs just to do it. Especially after seeing c-man's this past weekend. I like crawling, and my CLOD didn't do to well as crawling.

on ebay there is a guy named 'allislandhobbys' that sells x-f parts. Do a search for 'xtm x-factor' and his stuff should come up.

I think what he does is buy complete x-f kits and parts them out at his shop. You can probably email him directly and get what you need. Very nice guy. I bought a ton of parts from in the past. Always great to deal with.
