You can use any tuber with this crawler. I'm not sure I understand where your going with this. You would just bolt the links to the tuber and your done.

HUSTLER or SINISTAR both should work there will probably not be one just for the X THERE IS MILLIONS OF CLODS AND AX'S the edge chassis is too small for super... rules state...12"longx3"widex3 3/4"high |

Yes, if using it for outside of competition use you could bolt your links from the x-crawler to the edge chassis and it is going to work. How it would perform, probably not as good as the original chassis, but it would work. The good thing about MOA is that EVERYTHING can go on the axles so the chassis can be any structure that will hold the links in place without breaking. I could make a chassis out of a 2x4 piece of wood with no more then a drill and some long bolts. With virtually any chassis option being available we then start to look at what is going to work best. While the tuber (k everything from this point on is opinion) is the best looking it is likely not going to perform as well as a TVP. The tuber has more things in the way in order to limit movement. The TVP will then be out performed by sticks and canes as there is even less restriction with those chassis types. This is obviously generalized however and yes tubers do beat sticks and canes on occaision, so do TVPs....thats why we have competitions. From my experience however, having had all 3 types, tubers performed the worst (but they do look very kewl). |
