I want a monster truck to beat on. Will this be a good chassis to get and put some fast motors in it? Or the gears in the axles wont let this happen? Thanks |

If your looking for a go fast truck this would IMHO be a poor decision for the following reasons. -Axles are annoying to dis-assemble/repair and go fast trucks tend to break more parts then go slow trucks making ease of repair have a higher value -The gearing is very low by design for crawling. You could get the same axle basically from RC4WD with higher gearing stock....see raptor axle -With a go fast truck I could see you damaging the steering linkage/servo via front end impact very easilly. It would work however for the above reasons I would recommend looking at alternatives. |
