Default Tires for the X Crawler

ok guys not alot of choices I was loooking at the rock crushers at 7.25 and the mudslingers at 7.5 inches would really lift the X for better clearance over the pseky rocks . Both narrow size not sure if there going to fit the stock rim so I may have to go with the rc4wd narrow rims if they dont fit what do you guys think also there is a new tire comming out from rc4wd called the lighting but no eta yet on that tire. What do you guys think ?????

only 1 tire that fits that wheel...rock crusher maxx size
3.2 rim but that is the same 7" tall
i had a set of axial narrow beadlocks with moab xl waiting for this rig, figured id just need 17mm hexs.....wrong...i learned the hard way
not only did they narrow the track width by a little over an inch and was unable to steer to full lock without rubbing
stock wheels have no backspacing...so went out and got some integy
17mm adapters(pn T7979) they come with 2 short and 2 long ,the shorter ones did the trick so im gonna get one more set
....need pics ???....

The rock crusher and mudslinger tires are not competition tires. They may look really good on a scale truck but they do not have anywhere near the traction of a moab XL.

the bottom picture is actually the 40 series rock crushers. at 8.25 inches they will get you some hella clearance. Iv been waiting for them to come back in stock at rc4wd then im gonna get those and a set of rockstar 40 rims.

Default the new x

Well i got my rims today. They are sweet. and big, haha. I haven't done much crawling yet but i ran about one pack through. i definitely like the height at 8.25 they are about 1.75 taller than stock. i don't have any weight in the rims right now i think ill be adding some to the front. also i haven't done any trimming of foam. ill keep you up to date on my findings.
