Hi! Has anyone extended the x-crawler's chassis so that the shocks can be mounted behind the wheels? Will new/longer shocks be required or can the originals reach? Thanks.

If you extend the chassis the stock shocks can be used and the shocks can be forward on the links. It works quite a bit better. I just used two pieces of 1/8" x 1" x about 10" pieces of aluminum and bolted them to the stock chassis, then mounted the shocks on the end of the new aluminum. I think that is the easiest and cheapest way to do it. If you want I can take some pictures for you. The chassis if off the rig because i'm making a tuber for it but you can still see how it was done.

If you want the ultimate Super Chassis for your XTM, go with a RCP Hustler, I used a Hustler Chassis, works perfect and looks killer!!! I just had to lenthen top links by 1/2" using treaded spacers and everything else bolted right up! http://rcpcrawlers.com/product.php?p...6&cat=6&page=1
