Thanks folks, The drive shafts look the way they do because that was my solution to mate the xfactor output to an Emaxx slider! I think TXT-1 outputs might work, but I like mine. The duct tape is there to retain a pin. ;) The gear reduction is a Great Planes unit bolted to the Emaxx tranny. It's 3:1 or so, but can be changed with different pinions. Toyofast runs one on his Jugg2. Part number GPMG0850, the "GD-600 Gear Drive." ryan |

what do u do to make it twist like that ?i habe an xf but it nots modified yet ...i wnat to know how hard is it to do that?

well, I re-did the suspension and set the geometry to allow the amount of flex I wanted. I built new links and mounted the shocks so that the cantis fully compressed them when the desired travel was reached. It's not that hard to do, but I'm working with a custom chassis and have the freedom to drill holles anywhere! I've not worked with an xfactor chassis, but I've seen pics of xfactors with tons of flex... ryan |
