I'm about to build my X-Crawler and wanted opinions on motors. I'm either going to go with a Single FXR or Sidewinder ESC and want the option on running on 3s Li-Po. Any idea the amp draw on either motor setup?? Thanks Chris |

I'd head straight to a handwound 35t...especially if you're going to run the stock 8t pinion. I used a set of these to replace the axle on our clod based super, and they're geared considerably lower than the clod. I'm currently running a pair of Holmes Hobby Crawlmaster 1000kv brushless motors on them, each with their own 3s Lipo and Sidewinder ESC. In my opinion, they still need more wheel speed. |

We're running a pair of 55t Integy's on 3s and it is quite slow. To do it again I'd run 45t minimum and definitely take a look at 35t if you're used to a crawler with wheelspeed.

55T is too slow so I did rewined to 40T but not fast what I want it.. I think 35T even lower ok because gear 50 to 1 |
