Default why does my x factor keep going into a neutrul?

I got my X running pretty good but every time it acts like it's going to shift into second it doesn't act like it wants to shift back into first. I've been messing with the shift points but since it's used i have no idea where to start from or if it's even working correctly.

thanks for any help i'm not sure what to do next.

could have to do with how the engine is tuned.
It also may be the r-box, if you are running one.
Third reason could be because the servo isn't throwing the shift linkage far enough.
Try and look for those things first.

My xfactor done the same thing!!!!

It turned out to be that the gearbox was faulty and it had stripped the 2-speed clutch..therefore kept on slipping...which becomes REALLY annoying.

well i adjusted the shift linkage and that kinda fixed it. I think I messed up the shift point cause it don't seam to go into 2nd now. i can't hear it shift like I do on my t maxx.

one thing I don't like about the truck it breaks really easy if you run it into something. I bumped it into a pole today when it was bearly going and it popped off two links and the drive shaft. and i bet it wasn't going 3 mph.

I've ran my t maxx into solid object at full speed and it bounched off and rollled for 10 feet and all I had to do was put it back on it's wheels and hit the throttle again.
this truck would be ready for the parts been if i did that.

anyway thanks for the input I need as much help as I can get.

Yeah....the Xfactor is a big pile of crap for bashing. It breaks very easily due to it's, rather delicate design. The axles, however, are nearly bullet proof. Good luck and I look forward to seeing your electric version......it won't be long!...................
