i have tried several times to figure my final drive ratio but have not come up with the same number twice. ![]() thanks 65 turn lathe motor (purple brush springs for more torque) gd600 gear reduction (stock) pinion gear=9 tooth spur gear=72 tooth axle ratio=3.30:1 |

What tranny are you using? You need to know the tranny ratio too to complete the calculation. If the GD600 has a common 3:1 ratio, and you pinion/spur ratio is as follows: 72/9=8, e.g. 8:1 ratio, then the final ratio would be spur ratio*GD600 ratio*tranny ratio*axle ratio At the moment is 8*3*?*3.3= find the tranny and you have the answer |

transmission is 2.72. so if i figure right 8*3*2.72*3.3=215.424:1 final ratio? thanks for all the help |
