Hey everyone, do any of you guys out there know where I can find diff locks for the X-Factor. Do any of you know if the same design as the savage diff lock spool will work?

Are you just looking to lock your diff for good or something you can undo? cause JB-Weld works very well but you can't unlock them. if you want to be able to unlock them, go with "Silly Putty" or a "Neaded art eariser, and pack them in there good and it wont move untill you take them out!

You can also get "Lock Snot" Which is great for making a Limited Slip as soft as you need it, or so firm it will be spooled. PM Toyofast here on the board for more information on it.

Otherwise, JB the spiders together, don't bother wastin money on a machined unit, you can do something just as functional on yer own ;)

If you take the diff apart and flip one of the gears over on each side it will lock it and it is free.

If you only have the plastic gears, this may not last long. I believe that Feral Cat Racing is still around.

If you can wait until the new year, we are working on a locker for the X Factor. We had XTM send us out some parts.
