yeah im running them, theyre pretty solid, easier to put a servo on em, pretty friggen wide. i think they have a lower ratio than the txt ones too, not sure though. But i imagine if they were originally manufactured for a nitro truck they should be pretty tuff, mine work awesome.

The x factor axles are almost too wide for a crawler IMO unless you run kongs. They would build up to a huge beast though. I like the force axles. They are easy to service and parts are interchangable with other vehicles, so replacements are easier to get. |

I have mixed opinions about them as well. They are really wide as JRH mentioned, and I feel that the diff hangs a little too low. I haven't run mine in a while. They're a little too bulky by current standards, but they really are fairly bulletproof, provided you have a set with the 2nd gen. revised diff shims. The originals clicked a bit.

Twin/Mad axles are the way to go. X axles have a monstrous pig,if you like getting hung up and dragging your axles everywhere...they are the axles to use. X axles are 14" wide {hex to hex} The width is O.K. if you want to run Kongs. I wanted to width of X axles and the diff clearence of Twin axles so I made 14" wide Twin axles. Factory the Twin axles are 12" wide {hex to hex}. I've never run TXT axles but I've heard and read they are pretty stout axles. I believe they are a shade skinnier than Twin axles though. Coarse that should be expected. The TXT is a 1:10 scale and the Twin and X Factor are 1:8 scale |
