And if you haven’t guessed it’s me.

I would like to introduce myself, my name is Tyler Giebel, everyone just calls me Ty, on RCC I go by Turtle and have been called everything in between.

Since I will be dealing with some tech articles and anything that may come my way I figured it would be best to let everyone know I have some experience in the area.

I have been competing in the Colorado Winter Series since 2006. I have attended nationals on two occasions in 2007 and 2010. I have been helping run the winter series in Colorado now for a few years as well as Rocas Rojo, Nationals 2010, a couple rock racing events, and running a TTC series here locally. I also spent some time co-hosting RCCTV while it was running here in Colorado.

I have been shooting and writing for RCDriver magazine for a few years, covering a few of the magazines crawler needs.

I have built rigs in just about every class such as 2.2 pro class, the 1.9 class, the super class and on top of that I have built too many scale crawlers to count in anything from a mild street truck to all out monsters of vehicles.

As well as a avid 12 year old in a 27 years old body I have also been a photographer for the last ten years, shooting everything from rc cars to fine art nudes and everything in between.

Here are a few of my past crawler projects and few of my more “artistic” photo projects from the past.

I look forward to writing here on RCCrawler.com.

Ty
