Sneak Peak of Axial’s new crawler
A photo was taken at a 1:1 event (KOH) of Axial’s newest scale crawler and shortly after the new spread like wild fire on forums around the world. The new crawler appears to be a scale replica of a 1:1 crawler with a plastic molded cage and a full scale interior, new wider axles. It is rumored that it will be available in May 2011 and have price of $350 to $400 RTR.

will the new axial only come in a RTR version. I know I will buy one but would prefer a kit version.

I just sold my first AX10 build for an SCX10, look like I’ll be putting that towards something else now. Hopefully this will include the 2nd version of the ESC
Axial is leaving Losi in the dust. I would like to see an “upgrade” kit for those with AX10 axled scaler. A mini would be great also. I really like the look of this body.
will they have the wider axle available for those that already has the honcho…would be nice to get a wider stance axle than having to use wheel widener adapters…Damn, might have to add this to my collection!

Damn kind of wish I wouldn’t have got the scx-10 a couple months ago. Guess I will make a trailer for it and use it to pull this crawler around.

got a gap in the collection for a scaler and wondering what to get, this is looking like it could be the perfect fit!!
Damn – very nice looking scale buggy. I’m pretty much ready to buy one just looking at the pic – IF it comes in KIT form. Please. If I could have the option to:
1- build it myself from traditional kit form.
2- paint my own clear body panels.
3- spec and wire the electronics myself.
I’d definitely be willing to ante up…
Is this coming in only RTR? I sure hope not. I enjoy building mine.

well I’ve been watching this scaler craze escalate.But never thought I would fall victom to it..Thanks Axial,you just pushed me over the edge.(she’s a beauty and I have to have one.
Dang just thought i might have broke even on m taxes this year and get a lil ahead and then this . OMG its like orgasam on wheels. Got to have one . I see major wheel speed and and huge tires in the future. It dosent matter if its kit or rtr ill have it all apart sooner or later anyways.
Finally king of hammers Rc truck. I hope it has power to crawl and speed over jumps if not big brushless power is going in I’m getting board of switching my scx10 from koh(king of hammers) back to crawler

IMO, it’s not a scaler unless you get some axles and build it up from there…

It looks a little like my Axial equipped Wreckluse crawler but this one should be lighter in weight.
