Hey there all you Scale Crawler fans, Pro-Line has some new Scale tools and accessories sets releasing soon! These can be combined with the existing accessories or used on their own. Here is a brief look and run down of what to expect in the coming weeks!
As you may have heard before, this was the third year for Vanquish products La Guerra en Rocas Rojo, Colorado’s National qualifying event and part of the USRCCA’s national qualifying series.
Saturday was the big day for Colorado’s National event “Vanquish Products La Guerra en Rocas Rojo”.
After a small stint away from the giveaways and a whole lot of product development RC4WD is back in the saddle, giving away some killer new product.
Vanquish products is at it again, this time making a full line of parts for the new Axial Wraith.
Apparently giveaway fever has struck RCC, Norm Of Team3Six is having a huge giveaway valuing over $250.00.
Tom (Racer4life) has been with RC4WD for years, I met him at Scale Nationals this year and knew it was time to learn a little bit more about him and RC4WD. If you haven’t heard of RC4WD before you are missing out. They make the coolest scale products around and some pretty good comp parts as well.
I had a chance to catch up with Run2Jeepn of JP Customs to ask him a few questions about his business.

6 pm I made my way to the Hobby Garage to catch up with all the scale guiros before heading to the Maryville House for dinner. Soon after arriving at the Hobby Garage we were kicked out and driving in a convoy to the middle of nowhere. Quite literally the middle of nowhere, The Marysville House was, as far as I could tell, the lone business in a ghost town, surrounded by empty buildings and rotting cars. Nordic RC Rock Crawling Championship
The second Nordic Championship in RC Rock Crawling takes place in Finland June 18th-19th.
Dinky R/C has made a trailer and hitch set up that is a direct bolt on for the SCX10 chassis. The hitch bolts to two existing holes on the back of the SCX10 chassis. The hitch is welded steel and has incredibly scale looks.
I met Dave (@tw!ll) at scale nationals he was a stand up guy with some cool products for the scale crowd. I managed to get some information about him and his business, this is what he had to say.
2008, Patrick I tried to make it to Scale Nationals, we ended up breaking down outside of Rawlins, Wyoming and sitting on the roadside for 8 hours until a friend came and picked us up. I tried to get my Jeep fixed in time to make it, but I just couldn’t get it done on time. Fast forward to 2011, planning for the trip to Montana began earlier in the year. We planned to get Patrick (666), Danielle (Patrick’s girlfriend) Tim (tmyjeeper) and myself to split gas and some of the costs, as time went on we realized 4 people plus all our stuff wouldn’t fit into my little Subaru. Patrick and Danielle decided that renting a car and following Tim and I would work out best for everyone.

For all those scale enthusiasts out there, RC4WD has released a 1.55 and 2.2 version of their Mickey Thompson Baja Claw TTC tire. The 1.9 version of the tire was released a few months ago. After the 1.9 version came out, the community wanted more. Some images released at a trade show a short time ago gave us a glimpse of these newer versions of the tire, but finally they are out!
Another Great vendor from rccrawler.com The DMG has been providing several products to fit all crawling needs.
This years Scale Nationals competitors have been chosen by the members of rccrawler.com. With 615 forum members voting for 10 trucks it was a close battle. 22 different trucks entered the drawing this year to see if their rig would get voted in.
Thats right, its that time of year again, when everyone comes out to Colorado for some good old fashion r/c rock crawling.
