For me anyway........

Take some plowboys, a little glue, some scissors.......BOOM!!!!! The rubber is fantastic, gonna get the other 2 made tommorrow and test them out. I used 6 plowboys, 8 2.2 memory foams, and some narrowed thorns. Same height as the xl's and they feel like they are gonna work great. Updates soon.

I like them but can I ask if you think they might work any better or worse if you would have cut them down the center and turned one side reverse of the other? One row of cheveron's forward and one backward?

I use the cheapest super glue I can find. I get mine at big lots, its realy brittle. It will break off if you pull it hard enough.

Honestly I thought about it, but with the quality of the rubber I don't think it will matter.

I got to check these tires out last night and i must say they look like they are going to work great.

I would also like to add it takes one very brave and confident person to take that much money and start cutting it up and never blink a eye.

Not really outside the box. More like digging an old box out of the closet.:lol: Adding sections to tires to make bigger tires is old school:lol:

Nice Jeff. IB RACIN uses the 2.2 version of the plowboys and they work great. The only downfall with them is that they are a very short tire. "thumbsup"

I'll keep a close eye on these badboys. We need a different tire in the superclass. 8)

They ain't short now..............I actualy have more dif clearance with these cause they don't run as flat as the xl's. They wouldn't be that tall on a 40 series rim though. I hope to get them out on the rocks soon, but its gotten hot and I can't stay outside for very long.
