Well funny thing is Yamaha/Honda always fight for supremacy. To be honest who has the best engine or frame in 09 will be different in 2010, its crazy.

Yamaha tends to build lighter and more powerful engines, sadly their life expectancy hasnt always been their best category, but lightning fast and high power always have been Yamaha's best friend.

my buddy, who is always wrong, said something about the new yamaha's being fuel injected. are they? havent been around or checked out any in a while cuz im getting tired of all these 4 strokes every where.

If your buddy was talking about motocross bikes, than he is wrong, the '09 YZ450F is not fuel injected. It is basically just like the '08.

Crazy thing is, as far as the 4 stroke 400-450's go, the Yamaha's have been much more reliable than the rest. They have a five valve head when all the others have four, and somehow they are able to build them much more reliable, but not quite as high performance as the hondas. But of course, that doesn't have anything to do with ATV's, etc. I had a YZ426F, and now I have a CRF450R, both were great bikes. "thumbsup"

if i end up getting one im going to run elkas on it. good thing im short"thumbsup"

i love the foxes on my predator... remote res, adjustable dampening and dual rate springs. oh yeah and they came stock on the bike. and even on my pred i had to install CR double high bars and an extended stem. but its comfortable as hell. it wont keep up with the 450s with my big ass on it but its a fun bike.
