Hey John, was the Novak GOAT crawler esc you had in your used parts bin that i bought a few weeks ago set up to run lipo's and not NIMH bats? Im thinking this might be my battery problem because the servo still has plenty of juice. Thanks

p.s. and if it is how would one go about returning it to factory specs/setup or an NIMH friendly set up thanks again bro

JRH,
I'm using an EOS0606i currently for some 1500mah Elite 1500 NIMH packs.

I have it set to NIMH 1.00A and peak at 3mv (the defaults) .....

I'm used to a Duratrax where I enter the mah rating but this looks like it has nothing for that. Is that right?

Thanks

Right, the hyperion charger just charges until it thinks the battery is full. It doesn't care about the capacity of nimh, only the amp rate of charge.

Yes I will. I will finally have brushes for the Cobalt Puller back in stock Monday too.

Very soon I will add a subcatagory to Brushed motors, for all of the replacement parts.

35t houndwound motors

This is a thread just to ask random questions about your order, any setup you have, what you are thinking about, or whatever may cross your mind.

Ask away!

John, thanks for the mini replacement motors. They are great. I was wondering when you are going to be getting more of the 35t 540 handwound motors in?

Sir,
I just got one of your X-Caliber Lipo Battery, 3-cell 11.1 volt 2200mah, Silver Knight Series 25c-35c Rate. I have a Hyperion Charger, EOS0606i, that I purchased from you. The balance plug that came with the charger does not fit the balance plug of the battery. How do I go about getting a balance plug for my Hyperion Charger to charge the Lipo battery?
Thanks

I just ordered some Berg Axles, What would be a good Motor/ESC combo for them?

I was thinking a 11.1v lipo, CC sidewinder with 2x 45t.

thanks in advance

It may be a long time. Refer to the TorqueMaster thread.

Plug the battery into the 4s slot, all the way to the negative side. The negative side is closest to the "4s" imprint. Don't worry about the polarizing tab, the female slot will bend a bit. I have attached a photo showing a similar battery polarized to the negative side of a balancer.

That sounds great to me!

Yeah, you can. We could meet at a park or somewhere. I work out of my house.

Hey John I was thinking about the cc Sidewinder/7t combo. Any problems with this set up? I'm planning on running 15c 1500mah electrifly 11.1v? Is this too low of a discharge for the puller? Thanks.

Are the cobalt 7t still avalable? I would like to stay brushed but have awesome power and low speed controle as well. My problem is I use 8.4v NiMh so ill be compleatly new to lipo batts and chargers when i deside to go that route , also my esc is a rooster crawler (brushed) I know I could run this set up for a while, but what esc would you recommend for feeding this monster some serious volts? This is going into my 1.9 rockracer moonbuggy with ax10 drivetrain thanks for any help, also I was thinking about trying one in my 2.2 comp banana with ax10 drivetrain as well, let me know what you think.
