rear steer ?

going to be buying a crawler in the next week but have a question that will help decide wich one to get.
I an wanting rear steer on the crawler I buy and I have a brand new Traxas TQ3 3 channel radio here at the house can I use this for the rear steer? I don't think i can because the switch does not have a neutral state it is either one way or the other.
also sorry if this has been asked before its late and I have Dial up and did not have time to wait for the results

if you do a search there are tons of writeups on how to do a rear steer mod to the TQ3. requires opening the radio and soldering in a 3 pos switch in place of the stock 2 position...

if you want to compete don't do rear steer spend your money on a dig its a lot more effective
rear steer isn't comp legal

as far as the comp part I am just wanting to play around here at my house for now and I already have that radio and really no comps around here anyway
