Stacy David's copperhead on E-bay

I can respect the work that goes into cars like that but I hate that they never get driven. It would be like dating a super model but not sleeping with her. :ror:

I wish I had the cash. I also wish he still did TRUCKS! The new guys suck. And who said this truck doesnt get driven? On the episode where he finally did drive it, he drove the fawk out of it, tires spinning for 300' w/out the 400-shot of nitrous! I my self love this truck and wish I could own it"thumbsup"

I agree 100%

apparently you guys don't watch gearz, his new show. think OG trucks with more of everything. The banshee builds was bad ass!

If you read the explanation under the pictures and price you will see he's donating a good chunk of the sale to charity.

little over an hour left

$67,100 and had not hit the reserve. That is a nice truck, but $35k at most. Its not body dropped. It has a crate motor, no blower, no efi. No One off set of wheels. No custom frame, no custom suspension. I am not even sure who this guy is. I hope he donates more than half of the money. And if he built it with magazine and TV coverage, he got most of the parts for free.

67,200 and it's met reserve.
67,300 and sold

Funny thing, I noticed, he list it as a 67 and it was built as a 67, but it looks more like a 68, the rear window is too big compared to every 67 I've seen. I didn't watch every episode of the build up so I may have missed something or possibly it was a late year production change that went into 68 I don't know.

This one has been driven.

X2, I hate the new guys.

Wow 35K at most? That thing is a deal at $67,300, with all the work that went into it.

Its a shame that Stacy left trucks, the show was awesome, then it turned to crap.

35k at most? Dude, if you had a shop build this truck for you, the bill would be well over six figures. What you see on TV probably does not even begin to do this truck justice. The paint job alone would be over $10,000.

EVERYTHING on that truck is custom. I can guarantee you, NOTHING was left un-touched on that truck.

Even if you built the thing yourself you'd still have more than the $67,000 price tag in it.

Whoever bought it is one lucky SOB.

And Early chevy trucks were offered in both "small window" and "big window" versions, from '55 until '72. The big window versions of all of them are much rarer.

Heck, on my '62 1/2 ton, even the turn signals and heater were freaking optional!

I believe in 67 the big back window was an optiopn.I have seen 67's with small and big windows.67"s didn't have the front fender marker lights where the 68 and on trucks did.
WIsh I had the coin for Copperhead, that was one of my favorites.

the bit about the marker lights I didn't know. I wish I had more pictures of my old 67, it wasn't near as nice, it was a long bed stepside, with a 4 speed manual and a 327 out of a 65 corvette. it was quick, and a blast to drive. wish I never sold it
