Losi 1/10th Roller

Just to clarify, there was an announcement of Mid May, but the heat treat on the worms took a little longer than expected. Again, pending no shipping issues (which I do not expect, "knock on wood"), the Comp Crawler is shipping at the end of May.

Hi Rich,
are there extra heavy duty axial bearings the worms will be running in? Since regular radial bearings aren´t built to take too much axial beating (funny) - especially with the high power motors everybody runs - they will burst pretty easily, or not?

Hey all i care about is that it lasts well so all this extra wait is no problem for me. I think its good that there putting the R&D into this rather than just throwing something out there that only lasts 5 mins"thumbsup""thumbsup""thumbsup".

Which would you rather have????

I for one will not be "bailing" if this gets pushed back again. I've already paid for it so by the time it shows up it will be like getting a free surprise in the mail.

Luckily I have other projects to work on until the Losi shows up or I too would be looking for an interim crawler just for something to do. But nothing is going to stop me from getting my hands on this Losi.

I'm looking forward to comparing it to my RockForce as well.

I would rather wait till its ready then to have them rush and get poor quality we all know wont happen from losi will arrive when it arrives.

So does this meen shipping from China or wherever they are being produced, or shipping from Horizon to hobby shops?

Well to all of those who cannot wait,,,,PLEASE go ahead, BAIL, and get another ,,,,that way I may get a bump up on the waiting list,,,,,hehehehehe 8)

You are absolutely right. I also want something properly developed before i throw my money out and get pi..ed off about it. With that in mind i asked if they put the right kind of bearings in the axle, because the other well known toy company with a wormgear-crawler put regular bearings in the axle. And those axles are bulletproof except the bearings. That´s how my question came up.

Dude, relax. I just asked an easy question one (most likely the R&D people) should be able to answer by now. Since the thing is coming out soon this is not a question to ask when I have the thing standing in front of me. That´s why I just don´t get your bragging on what day it is. And don´t worry, I´m not questioning the all mighty toy-company. I´m just anxiously awaiting a new toy. "thumbsup"

Dude im not having a go if you look back through post's ive put up in this thread ive always asked if its may yet it just light hearted fun.

I was never comenting souly on your question! just every ones as to why its taking so long and pulling out of buying one. As the wonderful Irish Drink maker's say "The best things come to those who wait"

Just remeber it wont be long till we have it in our hands and all this will be answered"thumbsup""thumbsup""thumbsup""thumbsup""thumbsup"

Nice Vid,,,now I see one way he front dig will help get thru the tight spots,,,,Rich is the matereal the worms are made of top secret or can you tell use what alloy they used?
