i've been searching the net for small metal gears i found this place

http://www.wmberg.com/

Their selection is decent but doesn;t have what i'm lookign for.

small worm gears and spur gears with two gear faces. like a small gear on one side and a large gear on the other side.

let me knwo if you can help.

yup their smallest worm gear is 1.25" with a 1/2" bore.

i'm looking for smaller. if possible

try 'north west shortline supply', they're based out of Seattle. They make gears for the model railroad industry. I've used their stuff for years when I was scratch building model train projects.

for some reason i can open those pages. weird. i'll try form work tomorrow.

i'm tryign to make soem home brew axles.

Another place to look at is QTC . They have all sorts of small gears.

This set of gears could be used in a way to reduce drive line angle
