RC Axle Master's Straight 4340 Chromoly Straight Axles

Yeah, just lol. I'm sure these are worth it, but I have yet to bend the CKRC shafts yet. How many guys are gonna be dropping 200 bucks on these and the 300m cvds I wonder?

ive seen the CKRC shafts bend from falls that you'd never expect to bend them. and a set of these and a set of super 300s is cheaper than a second set of super 300s for the rear to match the strength of the front end.

I agree with you about the cost but they are not cheap to make. You are one of the lucky ones to not have bent of broke and axle yet. If you ever need a set you will know where to get them at. "thumbsup"

One of those people will be me.......I'll drop $200 on REALLY GOOD axles. When I drive 1 1/2 hrs to a comp or more to compete, I don't want to DNF. As a matter of fact, I broke a CKRC axle yesterday, and kept going to see what my rig was capable of on 3 wheels. The lockouts slid though surprizingly well. I learned a couple on tricks too along the way.8)

Nice tech, thanks man. These axles look sweet! "thumbsup" I think they are worth the money. I want the CVD's too. This sport is nothing like the money I would put into the Jeep I had.

I still have a few kits that I can sell before the axles are released to Rpp Hobby. These kits were put together for the people that wanted them for the world comp.

Tom,

I noticed you are not running the DH ProComp 2.2. What rims are you running now? Are they aluminum? It looks like it narrowed up your rig about a 1/2 inch or so. Is this why you changed?

Do you have anymore delrin motor covers you want to sell?

Your rig is looking great. Good Luck at Worlds!"thumbsup"

By the way I am running the Bully axles LetshandleIt made and I believe they are indestructible. I never worry about binds or falls. They are a great product.

I am running the 2.2 DH Pro's up front and have switched to the new Vanquish Light Weight SLW's in the rear. It has served two purposes for me. One is that they are lighter and two I can narrow up the rear end some. I have always been a fan of running a narrow rear end after running with tmyjeeper. It definately helps get the rear through gates.

THe delrin motor covers have been something I thought about selling but I need to find a machinest to turn them out for me. There just is not enough down time in the machine shop at work to make enough of them for everyone. I will work on seeing if I can get a few made and try to find someone to give me a cost on what it will take to make them for me.

Thanks for the well wishes at Worlds, I will need it. There will be some of the best competition around at Donner. I just wish somemore of the top drivers could have made it, but I can understand with the economy.

I will be rootin for ya. Its to bad you have to work on Saturdays while we are comping. I hope you are getting some practice time in on other days.

Just mounted mine up. No problems. Excellent product. I had the 3 axles next to each other (stock, ckrc and these) for comparison. These are probably going to be the last set I will need for these berg axles.

Just need to get some drill bits for my hexes and I'll be good to go.

Funny how after I posted that I noticed a wobble in the left rear...

I'm not knockin' you at all, I just see a lot of guys throw money to no end at their rig cuz they think it'll win atomatically. Soon as I start working again I will definitely be putting a set of your axles in my berg"thumbsup"

To me its not about slapping custom parts to get the win. These custom parts are about durability. I drive several hours each way to comp. I want my truck to be able to handle rock crawling for a couple hours in a day.

I see guys break parts that have already been improved. Buying these rear axles is just one more step to being able to finish that last gate.

Thanks to the vendors and guys that can make parts like Steven.

Just my .02

I agree 100%!!!! My thoughts excactly!!!! I just got mine in the mail yesterday, and they are super beefyy, and then considering what they are made out of.....These axles are truely what Berg owners needed.

If you are serious about crawling, these are what you need."thumbsup"

I'm really glad to see every one is liking the axles, having tested them myself for a couple months before they went up for sale i can tell you all that you shouldn't have any problems from here on out.
