Started another Toyota recently. This will be similar to what we wheel on the tight, muddy trails here in Western Washington8)
Bobbed bed, exo-cage, leafs, etc.

Bodywork started....bobbed bed and a cowl hood.

Frame and rocksliders made....the exo will attach to the removable rock sliders and the upper half of cage will be removable from the lower half, to make removing the body fairly easy...
That's the "plan" anyway....

That's a good start Josh"thumbsup" but please put "Western" Washington, we don't want everybody to think the whole state only has muddy trails:-P, some of us live in the desert in dry conditions :ror::mrgreen:

It was fun to watch your FJ tuber work at the TTC, looking forward to how this one crawls 8)

Thanks fellas...
Fixed it for ya Tanis! This one won't "crawl" well...it's made for tight, muddy trails not rocks and desert...haha!

Tubework almost finished. The upper have locates on pins in the lower half of the cage off the rock sliders and bolts down at the front and rear bumpers.

heck yea dude! nice looking rig... !! maybe wanna rething the braces over the hood, you wont be able to fix anything under there! lol

"thumbsup"awesome work on the chasis!!

Thanks fellas....
I plan on making the hood open, as my battery pack will be under there and it'll make things SO much easier.

Undecided on paint colors thus far...

The main reason for the cage is to protect the paintjob I have plannned. Maybe realistic-style flames, simulated smoke, tribal flames.....
Or....HEAVY Metalflake and lacework....
