It's raining...:ror:

More to come as soon as I get to the comp site. "thumbsup"

Almost four and still raining. It's definitely made some portions of the courses challenging. Wood and rock are getting slick and guys tires are getting clogged, but everyone seems to be having a good time.

Spec class (stock rtr honchos) seem to be doing better on the courses than a lot of the street rigs. Combo of light weight, wheelspeed, longer wheelbase and the fact that most drivers are doing spec class right after they've finished the course with their other rigs.

Would be nice if the rain stopped, but sounds like they're calling for some snow tonight. Brr!

When we left and came back across McDonald pass out of Helena it was snowing and sticking on the ground and trees. The guage in the car said it was 32 deg outside.

Sorry everyone. This was a FULL DAY! The judges are still out there running the courses right now!! I am SO freaking tired and damp. It misted most of the day. There was a few minutes in between with nothing, then...rain.

Attitude out there today was FUN. With or without this weather, FUN! Ben has seriously stepped it up here guys. The spot is huge area. The walk between courses was enough to kill a smoker. :flipoff:

The Axial Spec class was honestly most fun for me. Everyone has the same chance to make it happen. I killed my own Street Boyer YJ rig with a RTR Honcho. WAY TO GO AXIAL AND MSD and Holmes Hobbies!!!! "thumbsup""thumbsup""thumbsup"

I am uploading pictures as I type this. I will post as soon as I shower and warm up.

Totally agree with you Ryan, the people make this event. The weather, not so great, but attitudes were up and everyone in good spirits all day. It's been great meeting a ton of you guys face to face and realizing you're no bigger assholes than I am :D!

You got to post up that pic from course 2 with Brad's rig winching in the v-groove. Awesome shot!

Fine...I will post up some pics. No videos from me...yet.

Well, most of the judges finished up before dark but there are a few of us that will be finishing up first thing tomorrow; we called it at 10:00. I'm really surprised at the spec trucks it seemed that most people were doing alright with their own trucks but then ran a much better course with the spec truck "thumbsup"

I had a great time yesterday and even with all the rain it was a blast! All the courses were really well done and even with all the rain there were some really impressive runs. We were all soaked to the core and exhausted but still smiles. I can't wait to run more today and a special thanks to the judges and those who put it on.

Btw, the quality of scalers was really upped this year. There were some amazing rigs out there.

I think today is going to be over the top. The finals are going to be sick. The bar has been raised in the Scaler world as Zach has said.

The cell service is good for the most part. It's just tough to be at the bottom of the hill and run up to post anything.

Well, looks like the day is going better already. Partly cloudy and dry!!

I will take as many pics today as I can. It takes forever to upload in these hotels.:flipoff:

Well I hafta say I was impressed. This was my first comp ever, nothing like playing your first game at the superbowl. It was a miserable, cold, rainy, dreary, absolute bone chilling, hmmmm, get the picture? Most fun I've had with my clothes on in a long time... Kinda wish it wasn't on solid rock with rain and mud everywhere... I was telling people how much I was learning, that's code for "damn, wish I woulda practiced!!!" Thank-you for all the patience and help from all. See ya next year.
