Chassis test needed/>?

I'm getting the skid figured out. Does everyone want one? or will you be ok without one? Let me know before I send the first chassis out the door. I'm using the first one that I have done for all of the fabricating.
If I decide to sell these I will want to include the 4links with it. So I would like to know AFTER you test it how long you made your 4 links. OR if you think it would be better to let everyone make their own to their own specs.
I designed it to about 14.5" (around my clod axles) but since I don't have access to all the different setups there are out there I will need your help. I think this would make it a 2.2 crawler (at the 14.5" wb).
I have a couple of differnet ways to set up a way to mount a body but would like the testers input on this as well.
I know this seems to be a lot to ask but you are getting a free chassis..

(sorry its easier to submit info on the thread as opposed to PM'ing four people with the same info)

I have now figured the cost to make a small run of these chassis'. it would be $50.00 without the skid.

If anyone is interested PM me and I will start a list of pre-orders and we will wait for test results. Then I will purchase a vender star to sell them. I just need to see what type of interest there is for my chassis design. THANKS everyone.

I will have a price in the future for a chassis which will include 4 link, a mounting plate (if desired) for your tranny. And I'm also working on manufacturing beadlocks (will be a plastic type to make them cost effective so everyone can afford them) and specific tires made just for the RCCrawler comunity.

I'm trying to make everything as inexpensive as possible to make crawling accesseble for the money challenged.;-)

Cool, keep us updated!

The legal limit for a 2.2 crawler is 12.5 WB, so you might want to do a 60/40 setup for the wee ones. 14 inches is way too long for those anyway, just ask ILRCRC. As for a skid, I can live without one.

I would like a skid, but don't have to have one.
Just depends on what you want us to test, just the sideplates or the total chassis, minus the links of course. I am up for anything.
I will probaly make mine 60/40, 12.5 inches wb.
Thanks again,
Kevin

I dont need a skid. I also feel you should leave the links up to the customer because everyone sets thier stuff up differently and it would save you from making 10 different link setups.

finished with the fab of the skid plat. it stays on by using pressure kinda like a spring, no need to use screws to hold ot on. and its strong.. but we will see how the tests go..

now on to the rest of them... Since the first on is done the others should be done quicker.
Destroyer this will be in the mail tomorrow. As for the rest of you I'm going to try and finish cutting the other 3 on Saturday so I can send them out no later than Wednesday.

Can't wait to see the maxx crawler. I should have jumped on this, I'm in the process of making one now myself.

Edit: Another maxx crawler, not based on this design.
