T1E ''Ti Fighter''

The mongoose motor was not in it when I was at Greg's ranch to test. He had the mini pullers in it at the time. I think he was waiting on the Tekin ESC's at the time. The Novak ESC's leave a lot to be desired in terms of tuning options as we all know Novak products do. He had already run the Mongoose motors and ESC's and they did not perform stellar. But apparently the Tekin ESC with the Mongoose Motor works well which means I might have to switch up my 1.9 mini Moon Buggy set up.

I wonder what turn those brushless motor are Cowboy?

Hey take a look at these little bad boys. Jim told me these will rock in our bergs. Also they will be sensored I was with Jamie from Fastlane machines and Jim told us that he will send Jamie the hold patterns for these and Fastlane is looking to make a motor plate for berg V1 axles.

Those are going to be horrible in the Berg. It's got twice the KV we need and I'd bet almost no torque. Looks like they're designed for a 1-2 Lb vehicle. Only way they could work is with a 2:1 gear reduction. Even that would probably suck too.

I really wish that some of these electronics companies would sponsor some of the top drivers in the country. Then we'd get some usable electronics.

Having practiced a little with Greg while he ran this truck, it's just nuts! It's smooth, consistent and makes things look effortless.
Thanks, Next time will get more crawling in "thumbsup". Had a blast though.

What is that like brushless motor in there?
The Gooses worked for alittle while but got over heated and went down hill after that. Thay are 4400kv and i needed around 2000kv so i ordered the 2.1 gear redution unit from RC4wd and man what a piece of junk. Nothing worked with it, He said it was made to fit a standered pinion but it didnt(Standerd is .125,Mini motors are .078 and these were .090 Not sure what that fits). And the motor will not mount to the case of the unit even. The gear in the unit will not let the pinion on the motor go all the way in the gear unit housing. I email them about this but thay just played dumb and said nobody else had problems and if i wasnt happy i could send it back. You guys are awesome"thumbsup" ,NOT:roll:.
