Projects

Bigron-86Jeep style steering, V1 front upper mount and a 6mm rear axle. Ive also got a delrin rear upper mount that TrademarkJeff sent me to try but it doesnt look like it will change anything other than being an ounce or so lighter. The CVD pins are welded in and the cups are polished up and something was done about the setscrews too but I cant remember exactly. Oh yea...just remembered, they were drilled and tapped to accept larger set screws.

Awesome looking rig Nate. will we get to see it run after the comp next saturday? i like your driving style and believe we are going to get along just fine. "thumbsup"

im still running my ford body as well. just dumped od/ud gears in the axles, alum gears w/ steel outputs in the trans, a set of 2.2 TSLs, and new tekin handwound 35t. it will definetly be with me next weekend.

Thanks man, it will most certainly be at the comp. Haunting you compers and making you think you need to build a scaler! I have fun with my trucks, anyone who has ever comped with me or 1:1 crawled with me knows i give it hell.

I have aluminum C's and overdrive gears for the front that i will probably put in next week. Looking forward to the comp to meet all the new guys!

Nate

Damn Nate, the ford and my Chevy are gonna look like brothers  Whats your wheel base? cant WAIT to wheel with ya next weekend!

That thing just gave me the motivation to go finish my darn rear styrene work

That looks sweet Colby. Looking forward to seeing that metal body get some scale trail rash:mrgreen:

I'm redoing my Hilux into a Pajero with a cut up body.

Hopefully by the comp it'll be on 3S so I actually have some wheelspeed.
