First off, my intentions for starting this thread is to get one organized place where people can see the kind of service that CKRC offers their customers.

Only post if you have dealt with them and share your story. Please keep it to the facts without name calling and personal attacks as that will get this thread shut down.

Also, try not to bring up the accusations with the owner's alleged cheating at Nationals or 2009 ProLine Worlds. That has proven to be a subject that will get a thread shut down faster than anything.

So, share your stories here, so that other potential customers can see what they potentially have in store if they shop with CKRC.

Here's how they got me:

The product I bought and got screwed on were Lipo batteries that CKRC sold as 1500mah 3s packs. I bought 4 packs, and after 3 cycles, 2 of the batteries each lost a cell (had them less than 2 weeks). I balance charge my batteries at 1C with a Hyperion charger and I never setup my lipo cutoffs to anything under 3.3v per cell. At first sign of it going into cutoff, or the crawler losing power, I always pull the pack. I don't take a chance with lipos.

I sent multiple emails and PMs asking for help with this. After a couple weeks and not a single responce, I called the number on the site. I was polite and simply explained what happened to the batteries. Before I had a chance to even ask for replacement, refund, anything, the guy on accused me of abusing the battery and basically gave me a "What do you expect me to do about it?" and hung up on me.

Later, I found out that the batteries were really 1300mah batteries that they were selling as 1500's. They had a ton of problems with them, but refused to do anything for their customers.

I've placed orders with CKRC over the past 3 or so years and don't recall having any problems with their service or products, including Lipo's....

Been ordering from CKRC for about the last 6 months, new to the sport. Only had one small issue and that was on an item that was on back order. I sent an e-mail asking about me ordered and he made it right. I ordered some aluminum gears for my AX10 and he offered to send me the steel ones instead, with faster shipping.

Ive had several shipping time problems, stuff taking a week or two to ship without much comunication....BUT Ive had the same trouble with TCS, Tower, once with Amain and a couple smaller vendors. But to be honest, I do kind of go to ck when RPP doesnt have what I need.

This is an ok place for something to be discussed but not out in the open forum in their own giveaway threads, just my opinion though.

I've order plenty of parts from them through various orders and never had any major issues. One order they sent out the wrong part, but a quick call to them and they had the right part in the mail. I sent the other part back and the issue was solved.

I have had to default to them a couple times when they are the only ones with things in stock. For a good while they were the only place to get a punk dig quickly so I did that, and when I ordered Sedona's again they were the only ones with stock.

On the Sedona order I ordered 1 pair and received two. I am honest to a fault so I called them and was told to keep them.

They are not my first choice in vendor. I like RPP, TCS, CI, JP Customs and VP, and a few others I am probably forgetting, but in a pinch and when they have what I need their shipping is fast.

I have only bought tires and the dig though, so no experience out side of that.

New to the sport
The first order I placed (on a Saturday), I changed my mind on a part. Called them up on Monday, told them what I would like to sub (less expensive parts), order shipped that day, I had by Friday, all parts were correct, and I had some extra Deans to make up (more than make up) the price difference.
I have placed a couple of more orders with them for some small stuff, got shipping notification the next day.
They also programed my CC BEC to 6v for me, so I didn't have to buy the CC link for just the one time use.
Very positive experiance with them
(and I have ordered from other sponsors)

i have ordered from them a few times. my last was an xr-10 with as many up hop-ups as i could afford. i ordered everything for it bent links, dual fxr's, etc.
i got everything i ordered except one set of bent links. i had them in 2 days. packed well one box for everything.

i am sure that everyone has issues out there. i think a feedback forum like this is a great thing. just like we leave feed back on each other when we buy/sell/trade.

CKRC orders

I have placed over a dozen orders CKRC for over the last two years. Only once was there ever an issue and they called me the day I placed the order to inform me one of my items was actually out of stock. They have always shipped within a couple of days and I never waited more than a week for anything.

I know people (me included) had issues with CKRC's 300m rear axles but CKRC bucked up and replaced the product.

I cannot say anything bad about these guys. I give them a "thumbsup".

I spent over $1k with them in the last few months and have had nothing but good experiences.

The order is right. They ship quickly. I got exactly what I expected from CKRC. No problems.

Have dealt with them about 6-7 times.

Every purchase was smooth. When things were out of stock...called and asked about rest.

I have yet to have a bad experience with them at all.

I've dealt with CKRC for a few years now and Yes, I did experience their mystery lipo batteries. They were cheap lipos and I moved on. Lesson learned. They did make it up to me though.

Every order I've ever had from them has been speedy and correct. Jack and Jake have gone above and beyond for me to keep me happy as a customer.

I was going to buy some stuff from them, until the only payment option that came up was PayPal. I do not use PayPal, got burned twice by them, but that is for another thread. Their prices are good, and I used them for a price match at my LHS when I bought my crawler.

I ordered some "CKRC Aluminum AX10 knuckles" got them and they were Hotracing that they had removed the staples and put their own label on.

Stopped ordering from them after that and havent went back (prolly been 3yrs now)
