Menifee-Temecula area crawlers

Yeah I was tearing up the stock U-joints pretty good so I installed Mips without upgrading anything else. I knew my time was coming.

I did the same thing, that's why I was asking. Guess I better start thinking about some better shafts too.

Hello everybody! I have been into RC cars for a couple of years now and race an 1/8 MBX6 at Hemet and ARC on occasion. I have have become more and more interested in RC rock crawling since I saw the SCX10. I really enjoy RC racing. However, with my work schedule it is hard to get out and race with regularity. I'm looking for something that I can do that is somewhat popular and does not take an entire day to do. Hence rock crawling!

I live in Temecula and know a couple of guys who crawl in the hills by my house. Just wondered if this group still gets together and if so, could you share any insight on the SCX10? Thanks.

Rich

Hey Rich! Can't wait for you to get that crawler! There are some awesome spots around town and the get togethers are a lot of fun, you'll have a blast!

Hopefully this works. I'm trying my first picture post from photobucket.

Wow it works!!! I can't believe it!! I thought I'd never get it figured out!

Anyway, this is my attempt at a truggy chassis. I was thinking about a build thread cuz I have some ideas for this thing that I wanted to throw out there for comments.

RC-Hopper that rig is looking cool man."thumbsup"

Had a great time at Temeku Land. Thanks for having us over.

Great pic JJR. Now we need to have a work party GTG and make and mark some trails.

I should have gotten a pic of your climbing in your 1:1..or not climbing :flipoff:

j/k you made it eventually. When are you puttin lockers on that puppy?
There is one little spot out there where you will need them...

I'm down for a work party GTG and some beers."thumbsup"

That was fun climbing around and the drive back was fast and fun. I just hope Steve is ok. He looked a little car sick.

I'm looking into some ARB lockers or if I can find the TRD E-locker. But both are not cheap. I'm going to call All-Pro today. When you can get me that info for the skid plates. Thanks
