1300MaH lipo run time question

Hey duuuude. CKRC is that bad? They seemed a little off when i called them. I only made an order because they have the lowest prices or will beat anyones price. And they had the swx chassis for like 68bux. thats the cheapest ive seen anywhere.

There have been many threads about them, though those who have a bad experience are always more vocal about it. Hopefully they'll do you right.

You are gonna love that SWX chassis. I run traxxas rustler shocks on mine, 3.5 and 4 inch.

What are you planning on running, i have my 1300mah battery on my front plate.

well. its just the stock axial that im tearing down. i wanted a new chassis and had to buy new knuckles. so i decided to get them at the same time. i just ordered the axial metal hubs and knuckles along with the swx chassis and a four link plate for the rear for now. gonna rebuild the stock shocks and maybe get a diff spring set. the stock ones seemed to be a little. but i think alot had to do with the stock chassis and links and what not. prolly gonna run a 1300 mah lipo on the front 3 link until i can buy the front servo battery plate. Re greased the front and rear axles already. i did how ever notice the screws that hold the axle cases together are stripped. it seems like most of all the axial plastic stuff strips out.

I'm surprised at some of the posted runtimes... I'm running 850mah ThunderPower 3s packs and getting 30-40 minutes on the rocks with 55T Integy and 7955TG servo @ 6v.

I'm thinking I might be getting closer to an hour of run time. I never really timed it. It all depends on what you're doing and how you use the throttle.

I'm pretty sure higher turn motors generally give more runtime. A lot of the other posts are running handwound or <55T motors. But Like Duuuuuuuude said, it also has a lot to do with how you drive (heavy throttle = shorter runtime)

Somehow I find that hard to believe:shock: I run 3s 1250's in both my rigs( crawler and scaler) and have never seen an hour of useable power.

Come run with us. Big78 and Metalhead can attest.

and yes, depends on your finger...I'm light on the throttle till I need it.

Turnigy 1300 mAh 2S lipos
Running Novak Rooster with 55T on a pretty heavy Crawler. I get about 40 minutes of decent power. I have seen more than 50 minutes but that was following my 2 1/2 year old's toy rc crawler around the yard at about 50% throttle. with lots of " Drive up there daddy " excursions while his truck sits on its roof. lol
After about 25 minutes I really notice a power (punch) loss, so I often switch them out then.

I used to run 2200 mAH but I would get bored before the battery died. lol

I run a goat 2s with a novak45 at 6deg advanced and have a hitec 5645 servo in a pretty heavy gc3a. I've been consistently getting 45 minutes out of a 1300 holmes hobbies 2s 35c/70c. Good punch for about 35 minutes, then a noticable drop in wheelspeed. I have a prettty gnarly backyard course set up and one steep run made of broken concrete blocks called "bind city," and a couple others with big tire traps that suck power. Need some good wheelspeed to make it through so I would say the time I quoted is with being pretty heavy on the trigger. Have a couple ckrc 1300s 35c burst batteries coming in tomorrow that I will report on when I get a chance to run them.

They're worth giving a shot.

I'm looking into buying a battery that will fit into my Tractor Supply Toolbox, which is at the biggest 1300mAh that I've seen. Or just getting a different toolbox to fit a bigger battery?

Was wondering if someone had a similar set to give me an idea on runtimes on a 1300mAh 3s lipo

Setup on my Trail Finder2

Castel Creations Mamba Max Pro
Castel Creations 10A BEC set at 7.5V
Tekin Redline 10.5t brushless motor
Hitec 7950TH Servo
Rc4wd Bulldog Winch

I know if your trigger happy your runtimes will suck. Just looking for someone that crawls "normally".

Thanks guys! Wanna invest my money in the right places.

Im running a Turnigy 4000mah lipo in My Honcho and Im getting a good two hours out of it on my course.I also ran my 8000mah venom lipo and got close to 4 hours out of it.I love crawling.I get so much run time out of the lipos. It takes about an hour and a half to charge and all that run time. You cant beat that."thumbsup"

Is that with the RTR eletronics, motor, and servo?
