Hulksta's 'Monsta' MOA

There was a couple of changes i made before the social/practice day yesterday that i didnt get time to post up before...

Took some weight off my mount for the rear weights

Then thought i could loose some weight from my rear upper links
Before.. alloy with steel thread

After.. alloy with external thread cut

Small change... i noticed last sunday that when it would drop off rock the rodends on the front links would grab and stop the rig, i then needed to give it some juice which ment i had no control what the rig would do till it unhooked..

To fix it i made some cones from delrin to make the progresion from link to rodend smooth..

Photos dont do it justice. This thing is real nice when you see it up close. Unfortunately for me its silky smooth to drive to. I am going to have to bring my A game, come next comp.

Looks great! Keep the updates coming"thumbsup"

Get married they said, and see the world they said. I wasnt told I was going to war!!

Done some prep today for the comp on Sunday..

Started on the back (only got the back done lol) greased the worms, then stripped the brOOd motor to clean/inspect and reset the timing...

Heres a few pics i got on my iphone.. We dont get much grip on this rock at all so it makes you work a bit harder, i was testing different weights and think ive found a good balance as the rig has settled in the rear now, i think my front foams were a bit firm but i'll leave them for now as ive got some new wheels coming...

Almost ready for the Australian cANZ Nationals

Made some tweeks after the last social/test at Cape Banks...
Ive droped some more weight, bent Ti links in the front, fresh dyno tuned brOOds and a few other little mods
mrgreen.gif
OHH and a new look too
cool.gif

Love the brOOds! these ones are putting out twice the power of an integy 45t (dyno tested)

This was a much needed change.. at the social i had one of the FXR's bumped somehow and moved it up to hit the buttons i think and caused the FXR to somehow reset
confused.gif
so some lexan card under the CF should stop that...

I like the part where you took weight off the weight mount. lol. just bit the MOA bullet for my LCC can't wait to get into some of the killer aftermarket chassis goodness.
