RIP Ryan Dunn

Like has been said...noone said the accident has anything to do with drinking. What happened to innocent until proven guilty? C'mon guys...for all we know it could've been a damn deer that jumped out in front and they swerved. I'm not ruling out that alcohol "could have" a part in it, but there's no reason to start pointing the finger at it so soon.
I saw on one publication that the car was traveling in excess of 100mph when it crashed....it might have involved a deer, but certainly would have been avoidable had he not been traveling at damn near double the intended speed....

Couldn't of happened to a bigger jackass. No sympathy from me except for his family. This kids, is what happens to people who lack brains and have too much time and money on their hands. And with the advent of reality tv, we have no shortage.

So, did you personally know him? Granted he didn't do the smartest things while on TV/in movies, but plenty of people act stupid on tv and in movies. But to call someone a big jackass without even knowing who they really are, is just dumb. I'm sure he doesn't just walk down the street and all of a sudden starts going crazy and doing things he does in the show. Now, if it turns out he was drunk and decided to drive, it was a stupid thing to do, but who's to say that it wasn't a mistake, albeit a very costly one? I'm sure most of the people on here know or have known someone who drove drunk once in their life. I'm not condoning that he did drive drunk, if he in fact did, or if it was even him. He was out with 2 other people.

You've pretty much answered your own question, I didn't need to personally know him, he did his stupid shit on tv/movies for all to see.
There isn't enough money in the world you could pay me to do the stupid shit they do to themselfs. Big jackass seems pretty fitting to me. I don't wish death on anyone, but on the other hand, I have no sympathy for people who live life in the fast lane, and die in the fast lane.

What I was trying to get across was that just because he acts like an idiot on TV doesn't make it so. Take Ken Jeong for example, I'm Hangover movies, he ran around naked, as he jumped out of a trunk, acted stupid, drank excessively. And yet, he's a doctor in real life. Just because someone acts stupid on TV, doesn't mean they always act/are stupid.

Grossly exceeding the speed limit is a stupid act. Doing so with a passenger in the car is even worse. Add the likely possibility of being drunk, and that's an exceedingly stupid act. I find it highly unlikely that this was his first time.

I feel bad for his friends and family as well as those of the passenger, and the pain they will have to endure due to Ryan's irresponsibility. But for Mr. Dunn, he made his choice.

An article on The Scoop said his Dunn's most famous stunt "involved inserting a toy car into his rectum and going to an emergency room, where he made up a story that he was in mysterious pain after passing out at a fraternity party. Dunn's X-ray from the hospital became a popular T-shirt with "Jackass" fans."

It's a sad sad sad sad world when this kind of activity is lauded as entertainment... when people are so immature that they count themselves as fans of a man whose most entertaining act was sticking a toy car up his **** and then wasting the time of doctors and nurses in an emergency room, a place where sick and dying people go for care.

In my opinion, all the jackasses who laughed and clapped and cheered this guy on, telling him he was this great comedic entertainer, they bear some responsibility for his death. They encouraged his jackass lifestyle... they fed his ego... They tuned into the TV show and bought the movie tickets and that popular tee shirt. They fed the machine that filled his pockets and enabled him to buy the porche, and they encouraged him to act out and become more and more outrageous.

Happy with yourselves?

Way to take the high road.:lmao:

It did come out he was DRUNK! He was also not driving in excess of 100mph, he was driving at an estimated 130mph. Investigators said they had never seen such catastrophic damage to a vehicle - they stated "damage excluding the fire".

This idiot got drunk, and killed another human being. Who gives a rats 6 how funny he was? Really, wake up!

There sure are some stupid comments in here, you can't judge the guy based on what you have seen on T.V., it's called "acting".
Did anyone here know him personally, if so, I would like to hear what they have to say about him outside of Jackass.

Anyone ever notice that accidents only happen to stone sober people?

Sounds like everyone with something negative to say is jealous, the guy made tons of money for having fun.

Last time I checked 130 mph is in excess of 100mph.

I have....:ror:

You know, if he would have been smoking pot instead of drinking.....he would still be sitting on his couch....:ror:"thumbsup"

Couldn't agree more, maybe that's why I'm still here.:ror:

Dang Jeremy, I've never met you, yet you know me well.:ror:

I think I saw you guys talking at Nat's in Disney last year too, though that weekend was such a blur I may be mistaken.

I do remember Tower BBQ!!! Thanks Ricky

Or if he would have driven it wouldve been more like 30, which would probably still feel like 130....but the damage wouldnt have been quite as catastrophic had there still been an accident.

But as we all know pots for losers. Alchohol is where its at."thumbsup"
