Rollin coal... Ghey or Cool?

You may think that you make lots of power you are blowing smoke and yes you are right. But it is pointless to me especially when most of them are just used to cruise down the street. I have ran across many diesels that think they are all that and then some because that can blow smoke out of their ass and that is all they can do, is blow it out of their ass. I have put plenty of them to shame on the street with my non diesel gas pumper 2005 Chevy Silverado 1500 2wd with 35" mud tires and a pre runner stance, all that is done to it is a muffler, K&N air filter, built trans and Programmer. You might get a slight jump on me when your turbo spools up the boost but I will leave your ass in a heart beat and my exhaust is clean.

Judging by the town I was in and the cop stalking... I would say yes.

Even if there isn't a law on it, you can still be a public nuisance and be ticketed/fined. Some larger cities have "gross polluters" laws, and if they see you puking smoke they'll send you off to have your vehicle inspected and/or give you a fix it ticket.

Throw 10,000 pounds behind your pile and try it again....

This thread is hilarious, going on 10 pages of pure opinion haha. I have argued this before on here, for all the guys that say stacks are "gay", would you rather some dirty ol' diesel exhaust right in your window or shot up into the air?

And "goobs" it's a 95 f-350 with a 1st gen 12v, bolted to an nv4500. Also did a turbo swap, to an 02 hole**** hx35 and then welded the wastegate shut haha. Runs, doesn't drive yet.

Reasonably sized stacks are fine, they have a purpose. Not gay at all.

Big fat "make your fart can look like a swizzle stick" stacks have no purpose other than to compensate for something painfully obvious. Chock full of teh gay.

So, you guys must think this guy is the gayest guy in world?:roll:

He's "rollin coal" and has a stack coming out of the hood. Even though this truck is the fastest diesel at our track...

On the track is fine. On the street, ghey.

I'm still waiting for pics of your truck being "used" offroad, not flexed out on a molehill in your yard.

Define used. Its 2wd so I don't go mudding, I mainly use it for getting around at my grandparents farms, hauling a$$ at the dunes, and believe it or not I have jumped the truck numerous times where all four tires were off the ground.
think of my truck as a diesel pre-runner/ tow rig.
I have a video on Youtube of me driving around at my grandparents if you want me to post it.

Sweet I have a 97 12v and allison 1000 im about to put in mine.

Inspected///really? what are they going to inspect?

I have never had my emissions tested on any of my deisels.
And what are you going to fix? Its a deisel....they smoke:)No different than a train or a dump truck.

**** that logic.

That's like saying "i'm a guy, so i'll piss on the toilet seat sometimes."

There is a difference between a dribble of piss and playing fireman all over the walls and ceiling. And just like diesels, it's a conscious choice.

Didnt say it was right or wrong,I'm just saying there isnt anything to inpect.
My deisel smokes, not from being chiped, from being worked.

There is no emission testing for deisels,at least not in any county I have ever lived. So sending me or any other deisel to get "checked" is pointless.

And alot of the guys with bad smoke can change that crap on the fly,so again its pointless.

I have to put up with the guys bouncing my brains with thier radio from 10 cars back,I have to put up with the smoke rolling by at the light,I have to put up with dip shits racing by at unsafe speeds, people passing in unsafe manners, truckers not keeping a safe distance back.

Its all sux,but this is america.....they are free to do what makes em happy,I just drive 55 in the fast lane pulling a load and call it even"thumbsup"

Do that towing stuff in the fast lane here and you get a nice ticket. :p

And you are right, there are worse things. I really don't mind the people that think they need to dump black get away clouds, except that one asshole that thought he would try and dump smoke into my jeep when I had the doors off...

To each their own but I don't think there is any denying that diesel is the new rice.

i read this thread lat week or so and had no opinion on it. BUT, yestereday while driving down the road, we came to a stop. there was a big ol'e diesel in front of me, which i could not see in front of. well, the long and the skinny of it is, there was a idiot trying to parallel park his car while fighting with his girlfriend. (the wife stuck her head out the window to see what the hold up was) anyway, when he finally did park, the truck slowly rolled to him and let out this god awful blast of thick black smoke. right into the idiots window. just about filled his fawking car. my god, you shoulda seen the look on he and his girlfriends faces. oh i laughed. as luck would have it the truck pulled into a gas station, where i was also headed. i got the chance to tell him how awesome that was.

Rik: Thank you for seeing things the way most people do.

Will my truck roll coal---yes it can as its producing allot of power. Do I do it just to do it---only when I need to  If you ride my ass guess what--your getting a face full :lmao:

Also when I tow I will blow smoke--just how it is.

"thumbsup"

I see you're from Whiteland! Stop by and kick my buddy C.J. Rayburn in the butt for me. An Icon in his own mind:ror:

Roll on!

I know a guy that works with him. I might swing in and see him and mention you if CJ is there if ya want.

I guarantee, light to light or from a roll it won't happen with me. I have almost as much hp as your engine puts out in power adders. :ror:

Or try to get the milage I do while pulling that too. I pulled a 38' trailer with a pair of 1968 Chryslers on it from Central Ohio to just south of Indy and averaged 19 mpg.
