What's the RX model? Are you in S-FHSS or FHSS mode?

I just had the same issue, Harleys futaba awesomeness helped me figure it out. I literally had damn near touch the transmitter to the receiver and it bound right away.

First off let me say I'm really like my 4pl. Picked it and another esc up at a lhs yesterday evening, got home soldered like a mad man and removed the punk and installed dual esc and new rx and programmed by midnight for todays comp:shock:
Radio does everything I could hope for and more and is pretty user friendly. Now I have a question, can the rear esc proportion percentage be displayed on the main screen? Had a tad bit of confussion with that while running courses and couldn't get the rear back in time as quick as I would have liked... any input would help. Thanks

Harley is the best to answer, but I don't believe you can have the channel displayed as requested. A 4PK will though.

Subject to Harleys reply.8)

I was afraid of that but was hoping Harley could teach me something that I missed in the instruction manuel:roll:

You can see it and drive from the dual esc menu screen

Menu/advance/dual esc/rate, From there you can also see a graphic depicting front dig/rear dig/ 4wd as an added bonus.

About how many time does the futaba transmitters are on the market cuse I don´t want to buy the 4pl and then in two months theres a new "4pls"

Futaba dosen't have a "Flavor of the month" mentality to releasing new hardware.
Once a radio is out, they tend to support it for quite a few years.

Then again, with care, your radio should last a lot of years. I still use Futaba magnum Juniors from the early 1980's.

I would like to know if I can use the 4PL for my RC4WD Bruiser 3 speed.
http://store.rc4wd.com/Bruiser-3-Speed-110-Scale-Truck-Kit_p_48.html

A 4 channel radio is required for this chassis, but I'm not sure how the channels on the 4PL are distributed.

The main question for me is: will I be able to swift gears with this radio?
The gearbox (3 stands) will be operated by an extra servo.

Thanks !

Yes the 4PL can operate that transmission without an issue.
