Slow ass super build

FIRST SET OF CUT 'N' SHUT'S DONE "thumbsup", THEY MEASURE 8" WITHOUT FOAMS, AND SEEM TO BE STRONG, I'VE YANKED AND PULLED ON THEM PRETTY GOOD. THE FIRST 2 ARE A LITTLE MESSY WITH THE CA ON THEM BUT THE SECOND 2 ARE DECENT, ONCE I GET A LIL DIRT ON THEM THEY'LL ALL LOOK THE SAME8).

THANKS JEREMY, GOT SOME 1/2"X 4" BOLT AND NUTS TO CHUCK MY WHEELS IN THE DRILLPRESS TO NARROW THEM. WILL PICK UP A FIBERGLASS REPAIR KIT TOMORROW TO MAKE THEM STRONG "thumbsup".THE SERVOS' WILL BE THE NEXT PARTS TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET, 7980'S IT WILL BE.
 
WELL GOT MY WHEELS NARROWED "thumbsup", THEY ARE 1-1/4" WIDE :mrgreen:. NOW TO GET THE FIBERGLASS CLOTH OUT AND FINISH THEM UP. THANK GOODNESS FOR ACETONE FOR CLEANING UP THE CA, WHAT A MESS THAT STUFF CAN BE.

Good deal. That's what Im gonna try out first. I've got some 7950's here that I thought about running on the rear axle and strapping the 7980s on the front axle. From what I'm seeing the single 7980 should be fine though...and keeps from complicating the steering linkages.
 
Thanks Casey, i need to get a knuckle weight setup similar to those you made, i have some delrin to mess around with, i guess i'll try that. I was thinking of just threading the holes and use 1/2" set screws and thread into the delrin.
 
You've already got something to cut it with! "thumbsup"

BTW, if you think that truck is big compared to a 2.2.......wait until you drive it! Driving anything smaller after driving a super will REALLY piss you off! :lol:
