Hey, I want to see some awesome fish tanks you guys have.

I also...if you know anything about/or have one, I would like to have some information on Oscar Fish. I want to get one but dont know much about them. Thanks.

Having a huge Albino Oscar myself, I'll tell you for sure your tank won't be awesome for long. They tear the shit out of everything, uproot plants and move gravel all around. All I have in my tank now is gravel...and a big ass Oscar. :ror:

I should add they are a very cool fish though. Each one has its own personality. Mine is a mean ass bitch, bites the shit out of you if you put a hand in the tank, likes to splash water around, but so cool at the same time when she waggles back and forth when I walk in the front door. Almost like a dog in some ways.

I kept an oscar for a while. If you feed them lots then you'll need lots of filtration. One night I put 30 feeders in thinking it would last me a week or something. When I got up in the morning they were all gone. Cool fish though, you can train them to jump out of the water to take food from your hand. A friend of mine had his trained to do this and the fish actually jumped out of the tank and onto the floor a couple times when he walked by.

Awesome!! Never heard of a Albino one. The one I want is a Lepord. Those are my favorite My science teacher has one and thats how I found out about them.

Here is what my teacher's looks like. This is not the one, but close to the pattern on it.

Wow! lol. That is awesome! Arent they very territorial? I might have spelled that wrong. lol. I would not doubt that your oscar ate that much over night haha! Thats awesome!8)

I had a 55 gallon with 2 Oscars.Really cool fish. When they were larger I tried to put plastic dinosaurs and a caveman in the tank.Within minutes they would grab them and put them in one corner in the tank.I would put them back and they would put them in the corner. After a few days I gave up and took them out.
One of them like to be rubbed between the eyes. When I would open the top of the tank he would come over to be petted.

Wow dude. Petted a fish! lol Thats sweet!

ive had oscars, they get big so get a large tank ! right now i have a 55 gallon with some catfish, a Four-lined Pimodella, a Midnight catfish, 2 rainbow fish (had 3) a calico pleco, a blue botia,2 red eyed tetras and a zebra danio.

My oscars break my heaters and thermometers all the time by swimming by and hitting them against the glass. They can also make a mess of the drywall behind your tank from splashing water if they get startled.
