I got the Hero2
Had the regular HeroHd but it was in my truck when it got stolen earlier this year.
My family and my wife's family split it for my birthday present.

I have the Hero and I use it a lot. I have ran it on my street bike, mountain bike, and going down the drag strip. Its a awesome little camera and it can take a beating. I have been down a lot with it on my mountain bike and I have never had a issue.

I have been watching for a deal since thanksgiving on the Hero 2. Best price is/was $299 for the Hero 2 Outdoor Edition.
Most I could find were some obscure websites that offered a free SD card, but still $299.
If you have a Sports Authority close by, I read where you could sign up for their "Family and Friends Membership" and get 25% off storewide. Not sure if that still works though. Found a recent forum post that it still might. Even though it says on the coupon is not part of the deal. Can't hurt to try.

check out Amazon.com, they always seem to have the best deals on electronics. I still have my little GoPro Hero, it takes decent pics but without a viewing screen it's impossible to easily know if you have the lense set where you want it.

I've been finding that out the last couple days!
One day after I made the post above, my wife showed up with a Hero 2 Outdoor Edition. I just picked up a LCD screen and nice 16GB SD card for it today.

Last night Woot had the GoPro HeroHD 1080p for $129.99!! Of course they sold out fast.
Christmas came a week early for me, my wife just gave me a HD Hero 2 outdoor edition.
The box says a WI-FI attachment will come out soon, wonder how soon and how much.
