San Diego RC Crawlers

Ladies & Gentlemen, or lack there of, every good story has an ending. In that story are some very exciting chapters with suspense, drama, fun, & in my case, a WHOLE lot of driving. I have set more comp gates than anyone in the country and it might be time for someone to take a shot at that title. I am taking a year off from hosting any USRCCA Sanctioned Events, local or National.

I like to have FUN and I won't ask anyone to do something that I won't do myself and I need a break from standing in lines all day to drive my XR10 for less than 1/2 an hour. I am done standing on the rocks, ALL DAY, judging drivers and I'm not going to ask anyone else to do it.

All my sponsors fully support my decision and I hope all the drivers can understand that I need a break from traditional comp crawling. I have not left the scene; the G6 & the Rock Riot have given me a new passion to give drivers a whole new experience driving r/c trucks.

There are a lot of problems right now with comp crawling & when I try to give drivers more drive time for their money that they spend coming to events, I get a slap on the wrist for doing such. I'm over it! I strive to give each driver the best r/c driving experience known to man & I cannot do that shackled by overburdening rules.

Thank you, to all the drivers that have ever driven a "Parker" comp course. Your smiles will forever be priceless to me and we can really never have a past, if we don't embrace change.

Welcome to the new book of Fun, The RECON G6 Challenge & the RECON Rock Riot. They're going to be best sellers, because of the drivers that already have written chapters in them. It brings a tear to my eye, to close the book on the AWCC, but it's time to stop living in the past & look to the future. Welcome to our Future as r/c crawlers;

When you need your scaler fix, come get it in a RECON G6!

When you want the most drive time and the most classes in a comp, come drive the revolution, the RECON Rock Riot.

Welcome to the Future.

RECON will host the West Coast Championships this year, but just like the very first one, there will be no invites to win, there will be no standing in long lines, and there will certainly be no judges, because it's will be the Rock Riot West Coast Championships and it's going be SICK!

Gonna try this again, Saturday the 21st, 9am.

I finally went to Boot Rock this Monday for the first time, brought my daughter and had some fun. Didn't get to really check it out before she got tired so thinking of hitting it up this Saturday. I work at 2:30 so gonna' hit it around 9am for a few hours. Anyone else? FYI, park next to the K rail on the left after the church.
