RC4WD & The Crawl Space presents The Colorado Scale Series Comp #3 3/25/12 Coal Creek

Alrighty you freak scalers, lets get those rigs prepped and ready for the next scale outing at:

COAL CREEK CANYON

The event will start at 10am courses will be built starting at 9am and tech inspection will be at 9:30am. We will also need volunteers for judging at every event.



For the scale series we will be following:

And for this comp we will be driving courses, fun scale driving courses, no rush, just drive!

We will run Class 1, Class 2 and Class 3 scale rigs.
Class 1 and Class 2 crawlers will use the same courses, while class 3 crawlers will have separate courses.

For this comp we will have a 10 point minimum to run and no max!? 50% of your scale points will be applied per course.

Now teching scale rigs can be a long drawn out process so we ask that you add up your points before hand and post them up here and know them at the comp at sign up. Your scale points total will be told to Ty, Rodney, or me the morning at the event at Tech. If anyone wishes to dispute your scale points it must be done before the start of courses at tech inspection in the morning. If you do not tally your own scale points before the start of the event you will receive a zero for the day. Scale points however have nothing to do with vehicle legality, just the bonus points you will receive for the scale details of each crawler you enter. Vehicles will be teched at the beginning of the day for class legality.

If you have any questions about what class your rig falls in, what you can claim, etc, please post up and we will help you out! Pictures help!!

We'll be hosting a "Scale Points Party" this Saturday from 4-8pm at the shop to help out anyone new to scaling or if anyone has questions about how many points they have on their truck.

Bring in your scale rig(s) to be tech'd and scale points tallied so we all can get thru registration/check-in on Sunday morning quicker "thumbsup"

We'll also be coordinating rides and/or a caravan in case anyone needs a ride or has trouble with directions to the comp spot "thumbsup"<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

Wish I could've stayed for the trail run, But I made it to my parents in kansas at 10pm their time.

Grats to Joey on the class 3 win! Your crawler is definitely dialed in now and your driving is excellent. Great job to Rodney too!! I don't know how you can dominate class 1 like you do!! Keep up the good work and hold on to the top spot in that class my friend!!!
