Currently, in accordance with ICAO rules, lithium cells and batteries are considered dangerous goods prohibited from travelling by air in the international mail stream.
So, does this mean I need to answer truthfully now when they ask me "Is there anything dangerous, hazardous...blah, blah, blah"?
This doesn't apply UPS, FEDEX or DHL....so dealers will still get them like always.
You could ship a box of sharpened pencils and still say yes to that question...
Is this because they have their own cargo planes and don't give a fawk about the upu?
