messed up dreams...

I had a dream where I was being chased by a bunch of thugs, They ended up shooting me on the steps of city hall.
The next thing I know is that I'm looking down on my body and I start floating away still looking down at myself laying there on the ground.
I had that same dream about 3-4 times.

i remember as a kid having a dream once about a gorilla under my bed eating crackers...lol, it was scary though:ror:..it woke me up to discover the start of an electrical fire:shock:..so what happend was on of the fishtank accesories was shorting out and i guess making a crackling or gorilla like cracker crunching sound:lmao:..crazy dream might of saved the family..who knows.
i also dreampt of the assasination of egypts president the night before it happened in 81 and i was 13 at the time, lots going on in the middle east then too..weird stuff

my son said that his most frequent dream is.......

he goes to rcx and he is in the rc4wd booth when a guy walks up to him and asks if he has a rcc profile. he says that he sometimes uses his dads(desertmaxx), and he really wants his own. the guy replies saying that he is rbgerrish(he really likes your cars). they talk for a while, then he pulls out of his back pocket the argus FPV.:ror: he is stunned and askes how he did that? he explaines. rbgerrish asks if he wants it? he lets him have it. my son freakes out every time. a couple times in the middle of the night i have waken up to hearing a very enthousiastic, " YES!!!! THANK YOU!!!!":ror:

I would be chasing someone or something I don't remember now, then I would turn a corner and my arm would go up a horses a$$.

True story, to this day I don't run out of sheer fear of my arm going up a horse colon.

....lots of boring, mundane dreams just being somewhere. Nothing ever happens, but eerily, a good many of those come true.

Coupla random dreams about me and a few SeaBee buds being taken prisoner of war.

Very often dream of not being able to breathe for one reason or another.

But the most frightening to date, I was in a sphere with just enough room to crouch down. The back was white, the front was clear, similar to a snowglobe, and there was a hole in the top. So I'm in there crouched down, and some chucklehead starts dropping steel tubes in, (about 3-4" dia, varying lengths). I stack them vertically as best I can, but it eventually gets to a point where I can't move, have no room to put anymore anywhere, and now the hole in top is blocked so I can't get out. Then the steel tubes stop, and the water starts. :shock: I was not amused when I woke. (and, no, I have no idea how that one started. nor any of the others)


Damn sleep apnea! (and the madness it can induce)

i've had maybe a dozen dreams in the past 15 years. i kinda feel jipped lol.

but the last one i had was about a month ago.

me, my wife, 3 1/2 yr old daughter, and newborn baby (who, in real life, hasn't been born yet) are all at an amusement park called knoebles in PA. i am in a line for a ride holding a spot for myself and my daughter. the wife and kids are at a booth game. as i stand and watch them, my wife bends down to attend to the newborn in the stroller. As she is caring for the baby, my daughter runs off and goes behind the gates, where the creek is. then she jumps in. now in the dream i am already running after her as soon as she leaves mommy's side. but i'm too slow. i get to the creek and see nothing. i jump in and can not find her. there is a large crowd of people watching. yet they do nothing, as i scream for help.

then i woke up and promptly went in my princess' bedroom to make sure she is ok.

i dunno what the hell that dream was all about, but i didnt like it one bit. scarred me so much that i ended up sleeping her bed that night.

so,im in my dream..
and im evidently in my own rc shop walking around helping people..
i look up and snoop dogg comes in and he starts pointing at my rc's
and his thug body guard or goon starts taking them and loading them up..
i stop him and say whats going on? he pulls a gun and says i dont want no lip im taking yo shit..
everyone just kinda stands there doing nothing looking..
i try to stop his goon and he pulls a gun fires one down towards my feet.
they drive off..i walk back inside people then start calling police..

dream shift's..
im at my parents house in my dads shop..
snoop's goon comes rolling up with his @10year old goon kid..
evidently ive stashed some rc's at my parent's house..
he comes walking up acting very smug,"im here to get the rest" he say's
with a smile..
i said "naa i dont think so this time.."
i start walking towards my parent's front door and his kid tries to beat me to the door to get inside..i run up the stair's grab his kid by the shoulder and yank him back..hard enough i woke myself up..??

Funny I actually remember some of my dream last night and I was driving my scx10. Reminded me of this thread. Weird, I remember just running it and checking temps. Running it and checking temps. Guess I'm not having enough fun when having fun lately. Caught up in details

If you read ten dream books, they say ten different things. The mind is a complete mystery and takes bits and pieces of what it dealt with that day and stitches them together to make dreams. It's when they're repeat dreams over and over is there really something to start thinking about.

I have dreams where my teeth get loose and fall out. It used to freak me out, but now I can roll with it as if it's normal and I continue to dream. I've read a lot about it, and was eventually able to relate it to financial concerns of mine. Ever since I've been debt free (and single), I don't have those dreams nearly as frequently. But I still do, but I can't relate it to anything anymore, just like one night I'll be flying over Columbus, and the next I can't swing a punch on some stranger. The mind is a crazy thing.

I like the ones when I run like He-Man does, all leaning forward. Those make me laugh.

In all my life, I think I've had two dreams about RCs.

Yea in reality. NO ONE knows why we have dreams or what they consist of. I have had the same dream about teeth falling out:lmao:

Some dreams are obvious, from a movie, activity, etc...... Then some you have no freaking clue!

Many, many times. Mine never predict an event, only being in a particular place. At first they were a little unsettling, but haven't been overly vivid lately.

Years ago I got really into dreams, and what they mean etc. Then I started working on having lucid dreams. Now I have a very lucid dream about 1 out of every 5 dreams I have. Almost all dreams I have, I know I am dreaming, but most I dont have absolute control. It's very strange to be in complete control while dreaming. Sometimes its a struggle to get control even though you know you are dreaming.. its almost like the dream has a set path, and its doing everything it can to stay on that path. Also, I can now wake myself up during any dream if I don't like whats going on.

Once, I was having a dream where I was struggling to take control of what was going on.. when I finally did, I ran in an opposite direction the dream wanted me to go. I ran through a doorway that I wasn't supposed to go in and the room was incomplete. Almost like a glitch in a video game where you walk through a wall, or fall through the ground and there are gray space where the game wasnt completed. That was one of the strangest things that has ever happened in my dreams.

As a kid I used to have a dream where all the dads were trying to kill all the kids ( I never seen my dad in it though). In my dream it was played out like the old stop animation (Santa Claus is coming to town/ Rudolph the red nose reindeer that they used to show around Christmas time type). There was a big hole kinda thing, almost like a landfill, and the dads were luring the kids in there and gonna set off a bomb. Scared the crap outta me then.
My mom used to have a recurring dream where she was a bag lady and breaking into people's houses (moms pretty well off). She said she has had this dream a lot.

I can't remember the last time I had a dream. I feel like I just pass out from exhaustion and I wake up feeling like I only had a 1hr nap even though I get between 6-7 hours a night.

I used to be that way. But I found out it was because of sleep apnia. You stop breathing so you can't get into REM sleep which is where you dream. You also don't get restfully sleep. You should get checked out.
