What have you guys found to be some of the cheapest aluminum wheels??
My plastics on my night crawler are cracking and going to need some but need some for cheap and not sure as to what my best option would be. New or used suggestions would be fantastic!

I love my axial 8-holes. There plastic wheels but aluminum rings. Plus I love the traditional 8-hole beadlock design. Hope that helps you!

Shoot me ur email or cell # and I'll. Send a pic or 2 when I get home

I will soon be receiving the Integy aluminum beadlocks. I'm not expecting much, but I guess I'll see. For $25 a SET, I had to try em!

When I get off work I'll show ya what Fastlane machine rims look like plus they have the j hook design and can be offset or brought in... I like mine offset so I'm not hitting the body

Mine are brand new never ran complete with hardware for 65.00 plus a little shipping

Yeah I've looked around some but haven't found the right deal for me yet I don't think

Someone had a new set of vanquishes for a great price but I can't spend $100 yet.

Let me know how those integy wheels are. Thats a high possibility.

Also I'd love seeing those fast lanes. Never heard of them!

There are plenty of great deals in the classifieds, sometimes you just need to wheel and deal(no pun itended lol), and don't even bother with integy, there products suck.

Ive had cheap beadlocks, and trust me, spend the money on some decent wheels. After you screw aroundwith them for hours trying to get them to hold a bead, you'll end up buying better wheels anyhow. Think i only paid $95 shipped for my mayhems.

Even the expensive RC4WD beadlocks have some issues holding their own brand of tires especially if you go aftermarket foams or add lead weights to the wheel. All of this makes the tire very hard to even out to hold the bead correctly.

I've found all CAC EZ-Locs truly EASY!! No matter what kinda foam I jam in there the wide rings always hold the beads fine. Also I've tried RC4wd old tires (discontinued versions), Axial tires, Proline tires, and Pitbulls. Never gave me any trouble.

Check Corey at RPP to see if he has anymore in stock!

For the money it's hard to beat Motoworx wheels.

I picked up a set of 1.9's for $75 shipped.

The lightweight 2.2's were $110 shipped.

Both are absolutely bulletproof and do an excellent job of retaining the bead.

nice wheels, did you find them on sale? or 2nd hand new?

No I'm friends with the owner..painted a few of his projects race at his track...That sort of thing.

He took a bunch to shows different styles of inserts some were powder coated ect... There was no demand for them so he moved on to bigger projects so I took what's left...

Sounds just like the ones I bought. Get a good hex driver and go slow installing the screws. The screws are the weak link with these wheels. I snapped one on the last wheel. I'm running weight in all the wheels with some R35 ripsaws and have yet to pull a bead off the rims. I would buy them again in a heartbeat. Great wheel for the money.
