What the hell does anything have to do with the owner's opinion anyway?

You can be straight or gay and walk into the local Chick-Fil-A and the service or food you receive is exactly the same. They serve all customers exactly the same.



Of course, if I find out he donates to the Sierra Club then I'll quit eating there.......am I a hypocrite? :ror:

the owner's opinion gave people an excuse to support or ream into CFA. those hardcore people that are against the gay community are rallying around it like its the Olympic torch. the extremist gay community in turn responds by striking against the franchise. cause and effect, so one man's view's, that happens to own the company, get placed in the public mind as the company's standing. i got my first post wrong a bit in that matter, biased media on both sides blocks the real issue at hand.

Exactly.

All of these people are stupid if this just now occurs to them. Did they not seriously realize that this company, which has been blatantly religious for the last 40 years, believed this? Did they think they were closed on Sundays to attend a church that was in favor of gay marriage? Do they not think that EVERY single company they patronize makes contributions to special interest groups (some of which likely go against the consumer's morals)?
 
I have no issue either way. Its a private company and for all it matters they can have whatever beliefs they want really. Their belief is extreme to some and not to others.

I am a bit tired of the ideology political correctness and so many things being done to prevent someone's feelings getting hurt. I don't care if its a minority that cries or the majority. Life isn't fair...accept that and make you own way in life. Why bitch and whine...move one and be happy.

Don't like what's on the TV or radio -> change the channel, don't complain about it.

Because CFA doesn't care about politics. They care about all the profits and free marketing this brought about. As they say "No press is bad press".

True capitalism would mean we'd vote about this in buy/boycott based on our view. Politicians shouldn't have control, input, or power over capitalism and free market sales.

But that isn't how most people are trained to think. If they hear/see something that they don't agree with then it's wrong and should be changed. The right does it just as much as the left, only they're thinking long term (pleasing their god so they can go to Heaven) whereas the left is playing a game that gives more immediate rewards (the Nanny State, etc etc).

Saw my folks earlier this evening after theyd swung by [CFA] and they were showing me pictures of the parkng lot and inside that theyd taken on their phones. I love em to death but thats just STUPID.
 
I personally don't give a shit as I have a good friend who is gay,,,

I was not put here to put others down for there choices but rather live my own life and worry about my own life....
