Well, thanks for playing "thumbsup"

RCC has spoken!

Now lets see what the rest of the country has to say

Hopefully tomorrow morning we'll see if the US agrees with RCC on the vote.

The "mail-in" (mostly west coast) and "alternate voting" from some of the eastern states may take a bit to count if it's a close tally.

Please, no "hanging chad" crap this time around. Although I saw that a voting needed to be "re-calibrated" in PA when it made it hard for someone to vote for Obama.

Just overheard my wife and MIL in the other room....

wife: Chris is so stupid, he voted for somebody that doesn't even matter.

MIL: Who? There were only two choices, weren't there?

Sad and funny at the same time.

Please, no "hanging chad" crap this time around.

We had a scantron type form that got scanned in this year in FL... No chad issues from this state this year.

Now improperly filled in bubbles..... that is another story.

They need to go full electronic, but the seniors might have techno panic and not vote.

My vote was for Johnson today, I know he won't win and of the two hope it is Romney, but I do not like him enough to give my vote to him.

The electoral college will do what they want anyway..... The election was decided 3 weeks ago, today is just for the pomp and circumstance :lmao:

Scantron?!?! Seriously?

scantron like... the line was not to get into the privacy booth, that took 3 minutes after I fought my way through the mob in the parking lot trying to sway my vote. I was physically (legally anyway, no harm was done) and politically assaulted.

The line was at the 1 scanner that you had to feed the 4 sheets in to.

For the last 4 elections I have voted at a nearby elementary school, this year they moved it to the retirement home on the corner. It was the most morbid voting experience I have ever had. The parking lot mob stopped at the door due to the "no campaigning beyond this point" That did not stop the residents in their wheelchairs with hanging oxygen bottles from rasping what I should do as I walked to the poll.

Then there is the whole Broward county needs a new supervisor of elections.... I have been a registered independent since I was 18. My voting registration card has said IND for the 20 years I have been in FL... They issued me a new card at the polling place today that says I am a registered Dem....

Wow. Archaic....

Welcome to Cotter, AR. Population 927. :ror:

Last time around I drove to the big city (Mountain Home, AR, population 11,000) to vote and they had touch screens.

the line was not to get into the privacy booth, that took 3 minutes after I fought my way through the mob in the parking lot trying to sway my vote. I was physically (legally anyway, no harm was done) and politically assaulted.

When I got there tonight there were a whole two people ahead of me in line. While I was busy coloring in my ovals, the volunteers were busy discussing roosters and ducks. The lady in charge of giving me my "I voted" sticker was so deep in discussion that I managed to slip out into the parking lot unnoticed after feeding my ballot to the machine.
