We are a new club based out of the St. Louis, MO area that intends on meeting once a month at local parks for some fun trailing, crawling, and general tomfoolery. We currently have a small startup group with a large variety of scaling trucks, monster trucks, and crawlers. We are extremely laid back and kids are welcome.

Please give our facebook page a like as it's the easiest way for most of our guys to keep in touch (and post sweet rig shots)! Our first get together at Castlewood State Park in Ballwin was postponed due to weather, but we are figuring out a makeup date!

Hehe, some of those pics look familiar, there is "something awful" about them :)

Sweet deal man, glad you guys are getting something going. Hit me up if you're in the KC area!

Heh, you're such a goon.

While I've got you here Mr. ev0l....what kind of camera do you recommend for shooting scale stuff? My wife and I are in need of a good video camera for our daughter....but of course I'm also wanting it to pull double duty for scale club videos.

Well that's a tough one. Right now I'm using an GoPro hero2 and a Samsung F50 solid state camcorder. If it were in my budget I'd be using a Canon Rebel T4i DSLR with a 50mm lens.

The F50 is a solid choice at 130 bucks though. Tons of zoom. Image stabilization. At 130 bucks at best buy its a solid pick. I'm happy with mine. The GoPro hero2 is amazing for the money. It has a 1.8 fstop so it does really well in low light. Best sports cam out in my opinion. Hope that helps:)

For all you guys in the St. Louis area, we are going to be getting together this Sunday (the 26th) at noon at Bangert Island Park in St. Charles, MO (right off I-70). We will be running the mountain bike trails and sandbars right next to the Missouri river!

Further discussion is going on at our facebook page previously posted.

Our first meet was yesterday at Bangert Island in St. Charles and it was a blast! We ran about a 1/2 mile of trail to get to the sandy banks of the Missouri River. Since the river is ultra low, this made for a great time of sand running. Here are some shots! We have more posted on the facebook page.

Wish we coulda came out for Goat Hill. We are definitely going to be there next year!

Our end of the year bash is going on this Sunday Nov 18 at Cliff Cave Park! We will be doing truck pulling with my sled, a hill climb challenge, and a creek crawl up the side of a slick waterfall!

If you guys havent already seen the thread were having a scale truck "race" and adventure challenge this upcoming sunday. you guys are welcome to come if you want to make the 3 hour drive

Yeah I saw that. We'd love to come but we were already tentatively planning our own "end of the year" session at Cliff Cave Park near St. Louis this Sunday.

We should arrange for a couple dates next year where we meetup! I'd be happy to bring my sled for some truck pulling. Our club has only been active for about 4 months now but we already have about 20 different trucks/members. The guys said they would be down with traveling to K/C if we could plan it out in advance!
