Another school shooting

Be interesting to the hear the story behind this one, sounds more likea gang shooting or bully situation than wack job so far.

SO sad  What they NEED to do is to arm and train the teachers...
Here in AZ, they've been considering this. The Sheriff's dept also said they would place armed volunteer deputies on all campuses who wanted them. It'll be interesting to see how this all plays out.

I completely disagree.
What they need to do is fix the problem.
Problem : our population is getting crazier & more angry & suicidal, why?

The violence is a symptom of a far greater problem.
Like a kid, we are acting out deep psychological issues as a society.
Like a kid our acting out has nothing to do with the problem, they are acting out so people will take notice.

Exactly. The problem lies in how we deal with mental health issues....or more accurately, how we don't. Too many people are afraid to get help (for themselves or others) due to the stigma associated to it....or lack of resources. IMO.

Imagine how afraid to get help you would be if the gov is providing your mental health coverage.
People are afraid to do it when the records are private, just wait untill medical records are available to all law enforcement & gov agencies.
Then imagine when they decide what meds you get or not, if you should be commited or not, if you should have firearms (guns are mounted on ships mostly,) if you should drive, have custody, the slippey slope does not end....

Its hilariously ironic that the conservatives, people who wouldnt give up their guns regardless of law, are the ones most afraid of bans.

The only people who would adhere to a ban most likely dont own guns anyway.

they also seem to be afraid that a gun wielding crazy is going to break into their home and raid their fridge or something.

What I fear is people that "feel" that I'm the crazy one for standing up and defending my RIGHT keep and bear arms.

I guess I should just rely on the government to protect my family IF some crack head or deranged individual where to try and forcibly enter my home or harm my family? I mean they are so efficient at the other aspects they involve themselves in.

Just remember, when the need for a firearm is only seconds away, the police can be there in minutes...maybe.

Actually yes, he lived next door to me.

After his garage blew up...TWICE from the manufacturing of Meth, he was caught breaking into our garage.

It is not a ban I fear but the destruction of our democracy, and bans are a clear indicator of this.
When you hear your spur & pinion making noise do you just gun it till it breaks or pop it open & fix the problem before it gets worse?
I guess I am paranoid, when I get a clear indicator of a problem I attempt to address it & fix it rather than ignoring it & wait for the destruction.
I aslo make sure I have alot of TP in case I have to wipe my a$$, I guess I should be more optomistic & hope my poo drops out in little kernals & leaves no trace on the fumunda.

Damn, how many excuses can ya come up with for this lame subject?
Legal gun owners don't commit the crimes the illeagal gun possesors do .

has a crack head ever broke into your house?

sounds like he should have been locked up long before that ever happened.
