Another school shooting

So your saying, the Government failed and you can now understand why It is I choose to exercise my 2nd Amendment right?

It's not an uncommon occurrence. I know several people how have either experienced the same or have a family member who have.

That shit makes people crazy.

You should read my posts a little more careful... we have been on the same side the whole time.

The same Chicago with the toughest gun laws in the Nation?

The same city with the highest murder rate in the Nation?

Explain to me again how more gun laws make people safer.

No, I live in the other Chicago... the real city, not this fictional place you keep bringing up.
I can't find a single web site that list Chicago in the top 5 for murders.

I was simply saying that its silly for a group of people who are not going to abide by a certain law even if it were enacted, to be worried about the possible enactment of that particular law in the first place.

There are many things that are illegal that people do anyway every day. Just like the blackmarket for guns would still be around if a ban were enacted, so would "law abiding citizens" also still find a way to get guns as well. Or at least keep what they have.

I personally feel the thought of a "ban on guns" or "the fed taking away all guns" to be quite rediculous. It will never happen in the US.

That being said, tighter restrictions on the abililty to obtain guns seems a quite meager but sensible trade off...

What I fear is people that "feel" that I'm the crazy one for standing up and defending my RIGHT keep and bear arms.

I guess I should just rely on the government to protect my family IF some crack head or deranged individual where to try and forcibly enter my home or harm my family? I mean they are so efficient at the other aspects they involve themselves in.

Just remember, when the need for a firearm is only seconds away, the police can be there in minutes...maybe.

Enough said.
